1940 Ford Deluxe 2-Door Street Rod

This 1940 Ford Deluxe street rod is powered by a new Chevrolet 350ci V8 backed by a new automatic transmission. Features on this newly refinished Ford include a new interior with a Sanyo audio head unit, a new battery and cables, new baby moon hub caps and tires, a lowered suspension, front disc brakes, and dual exhaust. This orange vintage Ford with a black and orange interior is available now and comes with a clear Washington title in the seller's name.

The exterior has been refinished in orange and features a hood ornament, hood and side trim, running boards, and a split rear window. A chrome front bumper is mounted below the horizontal grille and chrome-ringed dual headlights. At the rear, a chrome bumper is located below the trunk lid handle, license plate bracket, and chevron taillights.

A set of chrome steel wheels wear new chrome baby moon hub caps and are wrapped in blackwall radial tires.

The front bucket seats and the matching full-width rear bench seat are upholstered in black vinyl. The rear side interior panels, door panels, and headliner are white vinyl. The interior metal door and quarter window reveals have been refinished in gloss orange to match the exterior. Chrome manual door window cranks and exit handles can be seen on the door panels. Black carpeting with orange Fat 40 carpet floor mats covers the floorboards. The orange steel dashboard is home to switches for the headlights, windshield wipers, and aftermarket Sanyo head unit. The black tilt steering column is topped with a 3-spoke chrome steering wheel with a black grip and a chrome horn button. An automatic shifter handle with a black boot is mounted to the transmission tunnel.

A 5-gauge panel in the dashboard houses a 120-mph speedometer with a 5-place odometer reading 20,073 miles and oil pressure, alternator, fuel level, and coolant temperature gauges.

The reportedly new, tuned 350ci Chevrolet V8 is backed by an automatic transmission. Round tube headers, chrome Moroso valve covers, an Edlebrock carburetor, and an open-element air cleaner complete the engine. According to the seller, the battery and cables are new. The independent front suspension with disc brakes, solid rear axle with drum brakes, chassis, and underbody are matte black. A full-length dual exhaust exits underneath the rear bumper. According to the seller, the front end has been realigned.
