This 1976 Cadillac Mirage is one of approximately 200 Coupe de Ville-based coupe utility vehicles fabricated by Traditional Coachworks of Chatsworth, California. It was repainted in January of 2022 and reportedly features its original interior, which comes equipped with a tilt steering column, power-adjustable split bench seat, power windows, cruise control, power brakes, and cruise control. Other features include an AM/FM radio with a power antenna, rear fender skirts, wire wheel covers, and Peerless whitewall tires. Power is provided by a 500ci V8 and sent to the rear wheels by a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission. Refinished in Calumet Cream and equipped with a tan canvas roof over a tan leather interior, this low-production custom Cadillac is available now from a dealer and comes with a clear title.
Between 1975 and 1976, Traditional Coach Works turned roughly 200 Cadillac Coupe De Villes into Mirage coupe utility vehicles with a truck-like bed behind the passenger compartment, according to Car and Driver. Although not officially endorsed by Cadillac, they were sold through Cadillac dealerships. The exterior of this 1976 Mirage was reportedly repainted in Calumet Cream in January of 2022. The front end features a Cadillac wreath-and-crest hood ornament, square quad headlights, and wrap-around turn signals. Metallic trim highlights the front wheel arches, sides, rocker panels, and rear fender skirts. A tan vinyl roof covers the passenger compartment and extends to the side rails of the body-color cargo bed, which is equipped with metallic strips and a fold-down tailgate. Both ends of the vehicle have chrome bumpers with impact strips.
Steel wheels with wire wheel covers and Peerless President II whitewall tires connect the vehicle to the road.
The cabin is furnished with a tan leather split bench seat and color-coordinated door panels. Darker tan carpeting covers the floor and the storage area behind the seats. Woodgrain trim accents the dark tan dashboard, green 3-spoke steering wheel, and door panels. Amenities include a tilt steering column, power seat controls, power windows, cruise control, and an AM/FM radio connected to a power antenna.
Instrumentation includes a gear selection indicator and a 100-mph speedometer. The 5-digit odometer shows 34K miles, which the selling dealer believes to be the car's exact mileage, but true mileage is unknown.
The 500ci V8 sends its power to the road through a TH400 3-speed automatic and the rear wheels. The selling dealer states it runs great and sounds great as well.
The seller notes that there is slight surface rust underneath the car and a hole cut underneath the rear bumper.
The 6-minute video below shows the car inside and out and includes driving footage.

Hi, we have limited indoor space here, but if we hit our selling price and is paid in full, we would be able to work something out for you for the eight weeks. Thank you Ronnie

With gas at over $5.00 a gallon now, am thinking about getting this for an electric conversion.
