This 1966 Ford F100 built in March of 1966 is powered by a 352ci FE big-block V8 paired with a rebuilt carburetor and distributor and a 3-speed automatic. Features include a 6-door toolbox bed, radio, and new Coker tires. New parts include the rear axle seals, brake lines and hoses, master cylinder, tie rod ends, front springs, u-joints, fuel pump, and more. This Rangoon Red classic Ford truck with a red and black vinyl interior is available now and comes with extra wheels and tires and a clear Michigan title.
The body is finished in Rangoon Red (Code J) with a white roof, bumpers, utility box top, and grille as well as visible patina. Stainless trim and chrome, emblems, and door handles are in place. The fuel filler is located at the driver’s side cab corner that fills a cab-mounted gas tank. A white front bumper is located below the white grille and dual headlamps. The turn signals and Ford emblem are located at the leading edge of the hood, which features a hood ornament. At the rear of the utility box, located below the taillamps, is a white aftermarket treadplate bumper with a trailer hitch. A 6-door Powers Utility Bodies with tailgate has been mounted in place of a standard bed. The right and left outside mirrors are mounted to the driver and passenger doors.
A set of new Coker American Classic radial tires are mounted on white steel wheels with Ford-branded dog dish hub caps.
A crack- and tear-free full-width black vinyl bench seat is mounted in the reportedly wet-sanded and buffed interior. The inner door shells, dashboard, and rear cab wall are finished in Rangoon Red. The headliner is white fiberboard with black vinyl visors. The red dashboard houses an AM radio with a black speaker grille and white gauge insert. The controls for the headlights, wipers, and climate control system can be seen as well. A glovebox can is to the right below a strip of stainless trim. Chrome manual window cranks, exit handles, and black zippered compartments can be seen on the interior door shells. The seller states that new weatherstripping has been installed on the doors and windshield. A red automatic-shift steering column is topped with a matching red 3-spoke steering wheel with a chrome Ford-logo horn button. A vinyl floormat covers the front of the cab floor.
Instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer surrounded by gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature along with warning lights for the alternator and oil pressure. The seller states this F100 has 54,452 miles on the odometer, but true mileage is unknown.
The engine is a 352ci FE big-block V8, as denoted by the letter Y in the 4th character of the VIN. The letter G character in the transmission section of the warranty tag identifies the gearbox as a 3-speed automatic. Blue “Powered By Ford” embossed valve covers, a matte black closed-element air cleaner, a rebuilt distributor and carburetor, new intake gaskets, a new fuel pump, new radiator hoses, and cast iron exhaust manifolds complete the engine. A new single-circuit master cylinder, a new windshield washer bag and hoses, and an aftermarket aluminum radiator can also be seen under the hood. The video below shows the truck being driven.
The seller states the front suspension has received new tie rod ends, front springs, and lower control arm strut rod bushings. A new driveshaft carrier bearing has been installed as well as new u-joints on the drive shaft. The rear axle seals including pinion and lube have been replaced. All brake drums have been resurfaced and new brake lines and hoses have been installed. The full-length dual exhaust exits at the rear of the truck.
An extra set of tires and rims will be included with the sale.
