This 2004 Chevrolet Corvette is a final-year, unmodified, garage-kept C5 that has been driven just 5,752 miles since new and has been owned by the seller for the last 13 years. It is powered by an LS1 5.7-liter V8 paired with a T-56 6-speed manual transaxle and passed New York safety and emissions inspections within the last month. Features include fog lamps, a removable glass roof panel, and a quad-outlet exhaust system. Finished in Black over a black leather interior, this fifth-generation Corvette is now offered with a clean CARFAX report, service records, two sets of keys, and a duplicate New York title.
For 1997, the Corvette sports car aged into its fifth generation on the Y-body platform and received a restyle of its exterior design while retaining fiberglass body panels and a hydroformed box frame. This 2004 Corvette is from the final model year of the generation and comes finished in Black (41). The exterior features pop-up headlights, fog lamps, vented front fenders, a removable glass roof panel, bodyside moldings, and quad polished exhaust outlets at the rear.
Staggered 17-inch front and 18-inch rear polished aluminum five-spoke wheels are set inside of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS tires that measure 245/45 in the front and 275/40 in the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel anti-lock discs.
The two-seat interior is fitted with power-adjustable black leather bucket seats matched to the door panels, dash, console, carpeting, and embroidered floor mats. Amenities include a head-up display, dual-zone automatic climate control, auto-down power windows, two-position memory for the driver's seat, power door locks, an AM/FM/CD audio system, and more.
Instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer, a 7,500-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The digital odometer shows 5,752 miles, which is supported by the CARFAX report.
The LS1 5.7-liter V8 was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a BorgWarner T-56 6-speed manual transaxle. The battery was replaced in November 2021.
