This rust-free 1928 Dodge hot rod has been with the same owner for 38 years and was repainted and equipped with a 302ci V8 10 years ago. Features include a C4 automatic transmission, a 12-volt electrical system conversion, Haneline gauges, disc front brakes, power steering, an exterior trunk that unfolds to form a storage bin, and aftermarket rear brake lights. This blue antique Dodge with a black vinyl top insert and gray cloth interior is available now and comes with a clear California title.
The body was refinished in blue with black fenders 10 years ago. The front windshield frame tilts out to allow air to flow. A chrome bumper is mounted below the dual headlamps with integrated turn signals and the chrome grille topped with a Moto Meter ornament. A 3-piece hood with vertical side vents covers the engine. A black vinyl top insert can be seen on the roof and dual chrome rearview mirrors are mounted on the front doors. The body has forward-opening front doors with rear-opening coach-style doors. The rear chrome split bumper is mounted below the dual taillamps with integrated STOP lettering and a cargo box that folds out to become a storage bin.
The black aftermarket wheels with dog dish hubcaps and trim rings are wrapped in Primewell radial tires.
The front bench seat is covered in gray cloth that extends to the door panels and rear bench seat. The front and rear door panels house a chrome exit handle, door lock, window crank, and storage pocket. Gray carpet covers the cabin floor with matching gray carpeted floor mats in the front footwells. The chrome electric wiper control can be found to the left of the rearview mirror above the windshield. The steel dash is refinished to match the exterior color and houses the aftermarket ignition switch. The steering column with an aftermarket column-mounted flashlight is topped with an aftermarket 4-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim. The headlamp controls and horn button are located in the center of the steering wheel. A chrome Yankee turn signal with a hazard switch has been added. An automatic transmission shifter with a locking push button knob along with the parking brake is mounted on the floor to the right of the steering wheel.
The Haneline gauges housed in a wooden panel include a 120-mph speedometer with a 6-place odometer reading 1,626 miles, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and a combined fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure gauge. The odometer reading reflects the mileage on the engine installed 10 years ago. True mileage is unknown.
The Ford 302ci V8 installed 10 years ago is backed by a C4 automatic transmission. Silver stamped steel valve covers, an aluminum intake, red spark plug wires, cast iron exhaust manifolds, an open-element chrome air cleaner, and a power steering pump complete the engine. An aftermarket chrome coolant overflow tank and a radiator cooled by a mechanical fan complete the engine compartment. A 75-amp alternator provides power to the converted 12-volt electrical system. According to the seller, there are no known issues and no service is due.
A solid tube front axle mounted with leaf springs makes up the front suspension and a rear drive axle with leaf springs forms the rear suspension. The underbody, frame, suspension pieces, and crossmembers are matte black. A full-length dual exhaust exits at the rear with chrome exhaust tips. An aftermarket transmission cooler is mounted next to the passenger-side running board.

@don7778 – Is this a car that one could fly in and drive 1000 miles to a new home or would it need to be shipped? ...
Could a/c be installed relatively easily and not cost a lot ? Thanks

@turquoisetom – Is that an air conditioner compressor I see in the engine bay? ...
I think what you're looking at is the power steering pump. It's not equipped with a AC.
I don't think you'd have any problem it only has it 8 gallon gas tank so you might have to stop for gas a lot
