This 1982 Jeep CJ-5 4WD is an open-top, rust-free sport utility vehicle powered by a 2.5-liter Iron Duke inline-4 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. This CJ-5 was sold to its original owner in June 1984 in Apple Valley, California, and has resided in California since new. Custom equipment includes black-finished alloy wheels, a tubular bumper, 33" mud tires, and a vinyl bikini top. Finished in Sunshine Yellow a black vinyl interior, this CJ-5 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear California title.
Jeep CJ models became the world’s first mass-produced civilian four-wheel drive vehicles when they were launched in the mid-1940s. A CJ-5 variant came to market 19 years later in 1964 under Kaiser ownership and stayed in production for nearly three decades afterward. This CJ-5 from 1982 was repainted Sunshine Yellow and displays rust-free, glossy finishes throughout the exterior. The body features a black tubular front bumper, chrome headlight rings, a fold-forward windshield, black sideview mirrors, and chrome-finished nerf bars on either side.
Black-finished 15” aluminum wheels are wrapped in Pro Comp M/T Sport 33” mud-terrain tires with good tread remaining.
The open-top, doorless interior is fitted with two reupholstered black vinyl bucket seats, matched to the carpeting and the Jeep-branded dash pad. Amenities include a body-colored rollbar, a passenger side grab-handle, and a cargo area toward the rear.
Instrumentation is given by an 85-mph speedometer accompanied by inset gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature, along with dash-mounted readouts for voltage and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 92k miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 2.5-liter Iron Duke inline-4 is cooled by a newer aluminum radiator and replaced hoses. Power is directed to all four wheels via a floor-shifted 4-speed manual transmission, locking hubs, and a 2-speed transfer case.
Photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.
The CARFAX report shows vehicle history free of accidents or damage.
State and local taxes and fees will be due if sold to a California buyer.

@gatorbob – this jeep make it to south flrida? ...
Personally, I would have it shipped with that distance in an enclosed container, I would not want to put that mileage on such a beauty. With that in mind it would be entirely up to the new owner.
