This 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 is #200 of the 400 1995 Monte Carlos modeled after the pace car for the inaugural Brickyard 400 race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on August 6, 1994. It comes equipped with special graphics and body-color 16-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, and quad exhaust tips. The 5-passenger cabin offers power locks, power windows, power mirrors, a power-adjustable driver's seat, faux woodgrain trim, air conditioning with a new compressor, and an AM/FM radio with a cassette player. Power is supplied by a 3.4-liter V6 that sends its output to the road through a 4-speed automatic transmission and the front wheels. Finished in Bright White with purple and gold graphics over a Medium Beige leather interior, this special-edition Monte Carlo is available from the selling dealer with Indianapolis Motor Speedway-branded floor mats, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.
In 1995, Chevrolet brought the Monte Carlo back with a fifth-generation coupe model that shared W-body underpinnings with the Lumina sedan and featured rounder bodywork and front-wheel drive. This 1995 Monte Carlo comes in Bright White with the purple and gold graphics that identify it as one of the 400 Chevrolet-produced replicas of the pace car used in the first Brickyard 400 race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on August 6, 1994. Based on the Z34 model, it features body-color 5-mph bumpers, composite halogen headlights, body-color sport mirror caps, and black lower-body moldings. In addition, it has a 3-piece rear spoiler and quad round exhaust finishers.
A set of 16-inch body-color wheels and P225/60 Uniroyal Long Touring all-season tires connect the car to the road.
Inside, this Monte Carlo offers Medium Beige leather front bucket and bench rear seating along with matching seat belts, Medium Beige and black door panels, black carpeting, and a black dashboard. Simulated woodgrain trim is located on the door panels and dashboard. Features include remote keyless entry; power mirrors, locks, and windows; a tilt steering column; a power-adjustable driver's seat; a front center console with a cup holder and covered storage space; cruise control; air conditioning; an AM/FM/cassette radio; and a power trunk opener. Embroidery on the front seatbacks identifies this car as a Brickyard 400 special edition car; a plaque on the dashboard shows that it is #200 of the 400 produced for the 1995 model year. The carpeted trunk contains a cargo net and a pair of beige Indianapolis Motor Speedway-branded floor mats.
The instrument cluster includes a 115-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The 6-digit mechanical odometer shows 67,905 miles. According to the CARFAX report, a Mileage Inconsistency entry was made in July of 2015 when the car had 67,563 miles.
The naturally aspirated double-overhead-cam 3.4-liter V6 generated 210 horsepower and 215 lb-ft of torque when new. A console-shifted 4-speed automatic and the front wheels send the engine's output to the road. According to the selling dealer, the car is equipped with a new AC compressor.
Additional photos of the car's underbody are available in the gallery.
The CARFAX report starts in October of 1994 and shows the car had an accident-free history in Wisconsin, California, and Florida.
