This 1970 Pontiac Firebird Formula two-door coupe is a two-owner muscle car that has been garage-kept by its current owner for 39 years and wears blue California plates. Power is derived from a 400ci V8 paired with a Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes upgraded wheels and recently installed new upholstery and carpeting. Finished in orange with a black vinyl roof over a black vinyl interior, this second-generation Firebird is now offered with the uninstalled original wheels and a clear title in the seller’s name.
The Firebird model was first introduced to the marketplace for 1967 and shared F-body platform underpinnings with the Chevrolet Camaro. A second generation was rolled out three years later with a redesign that included a large B-pillar and revised front and rear fascias. This 1970 Firebird two-door coupe is presented as a two-owner car that has been owned by the seller for 39 years. The exterior is coated in its reportedly original orange paint and features a contrasting black vinyl roof. The body has a sculpted hood, color-keyed mirror caps, bright rocker panel moldings, and a chrome rear bumper.
Aluminum wheels are wrapped in tires with black sidewall lettering. Handling is assisted by both power steering and power brakes.
The interior is fitted with black vinyl front bucket seats that have been recently reupholstered and newly installed carpeting. A factory air conditioning system is present.
Instrumentation includes a speedometer, a hood-mounted 8K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 43K miles, which the seller believes to be original, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 400ci V8 was rated at 330 horsepower when new. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a console-shifted Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission.
The car’s uninstalled original wheels will be included with the sale.

@db-tfa – It looks like a nice unmolested original Firebird...does the A/C system function properly and blow cold?...how is the dash pad beneath the carpeted cover?...any maintenance-repair records or history?...any original documentation?...any mechanical issues that you are aware of? Thank You. ...
The air conditioner blows cold seems to work fine under the carpet – mat looks like brand new no mechanical records because done the work all myself change the oil regularly and everything well maintained. No problems you could take it on a long trip right now anywhere
