Vehicle Story

This 1953 Ford F100 frame-off restoration is powered by a fuel-injected Chevrolet 350ci V8 backed by a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. Features include A/C, power windows, power steering, and power brakes. This Gloss Canary Yellow F100 with an ivory vinyl interior is available now and comes with service records and a clear Colorado title in the seller's name.

During the frame-off restoration seven years ago, the body was refinished in Gloss Canary Yellow. It features a custom forward-tilting hood, dual headlamps, a color-keyed grille, a chrome front bumper, a wood bed floor with stainless hardware and strips, and a center-exit exhaust with dual tips.

A set of 15-inch chrome American Racing wheels are wrapped in radial tires.

The interior is appointed with bucket seats and a flip-down center console upholstered in ivory vinyl that carries on to the door and kick panels. Features include a body-color dashboard, windshield frame, and inner door panels; an ivory vinyl-wrapped climate control panel; and an aftermarket tilt steering column topped with a 3-spoke Grant GT steering wheel. Tan carpet covers the cab floor.

A speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for other vehicle readouts are mounted in a chrome bezel behind the steering wheel.

Power is provided by a fuel-injected 350ci Chevrolet V8 engine featuring finned cast aluminum Weiand valve covers, an aluminum 4-barrel intake, and round tube headers backed by a Turbo 350 automatic transmission.

The solid I-beam front axle has been converted to independent control arms with torsion bars and the Dana rear drive axle is leaf spring-mounted. A full-length dual exhaust exits at the rear under the tailgate.

Service records will be included with the sale.
