This rust-free 1965 Austin-Healey 3000 Mark III BJ8 has been with the seller for 18 years and is powered by a 2912cc straight-6 backed by a 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Features include a convertible top with boot, chrome knock-off wire wheels, new carburetors, a new interior, new leaf springs, new rear suspension hardware, service records, receipts, and a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust copy of the factory build sheet. This Colorado Red Austin-Healey with a black convertible top over a black vinyl interior is available now and comes with a clear California title in the seller’s name.
Refinished in Colorado Red in 2004, this 3000 Mark III features a manually folding top with a plastic rear window, a rear deck-mounted fuel cap, dual fender-mounted side mirrors, and chrome front and rear bumpers.
A set of chrome knock-off wire wheels is wrapped in radial tires.
The front bucket seats and two rear seats are upholstered in black vinyl and surrounded by matching rear seats, interior trim, and door panels. The new interior features include a woodgrain-accented dashboard with a black top pad, an aftermarket digital stereo with a CD player, a center console with a 4-speed manual shifter, a heater, and an adjustable steering column topped with a 3-spoke woodgrain steering wheel.
A 140-mph speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, and water temperature provide vehicle information to the driver.
