8k-Mile 2006 Cadillac XLR-V

This 2006 Cadillac XLR-V is a garage-kept and unmodified luxury roadster has covered 8,988 miles since new and draws power from a supercharged 4.4-liter Northstar V8 paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It was originally sold in July of its model year in Las Vegas, Nevada and resided in the southwest the majority of its life before being relocated to Minnesota recently. Equipment includes chrome-finished 19-inch wheels on Kumho tires, a GPS-based navigation system, HID headlights, and a Magnetic Ride Control suspension. Finished in Light Platinum with a color-matched power-retractable hardtop over an Ebony leather interior, this XLR-V is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title.

The XLR two-door luxury roadster went into production for the 2004 model year in Bowling Green, Kentucky on the General Motors Y-body and leveraged the hydroformed perimeter frame and composite body materials of the C6 Chevrolet Corvette. Later on, a high-performance XLR-V variant raised the powertrain capability and trim offerings. This Light Platinum XLR-V from 2006 shows a cosmetic condition consistent with the car’s low odometer reading and features a color-matched power-operated retractable hardtop. The body is adorned with mesh grille inserts, HID headlamps, fog lamps, vertical taillamps, and quad exhaust pipes below the center of the rear bumper.

Chrome-finished aluminum 19-inch wheels with Cadillac wreath-and-crest center caps are wrapped in Kumho tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted anti-lock discs with cross-drilled rotors. Driving is aided by power steering and the suspension benefits from Magnetic Ride Control technology.

The cabin is fitted with power-operated and heated Ebony leather and microfiber bucket seats with memory settings, color-keyed to the door panels, dash, center console, carpeting, and floor mats. The cabin is further dressed in gloss woodgrain inlays as well as metallic accent panels. Amenities include power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, a head-up display, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, dual-zone automatic climate control, a GPS navigation system, a Bose stereo system, and a cargo net in the trunk.

The Bulgari instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 8,988 miles, which is supported by the CARFAX report.

The supercharged 4.4-liter Northstar V8 was rated at 443 horsepower and 414 lb-ft of torque when new. The CARFAX report shows that the vehicle was serviced in 2018 within the last 1,000 miles. Additional maintenance includes the replacement of the engine air filter, transmission fluid, windshield wiper blades, differential fluid, and cabin air filter in 2015 at 7,200 miles and an oil change in 2016. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted 6-speed 6L80 automatic transmission.
