Vehicle Story

This 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H convertible is finished in black with gold racing stripes over a black leather interior and is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission.  This trim level was a special offering, made available through a partnership between Ford, Shelby American, and Hertz, with only 500 being produced for the 2007 model year.  Equipment includes a power-retractable soft top, rear spoiler, performance upgrades, and Shelby-specific badging.  This 3-owner car was delivered new in Virginia to a local Hertz agency to be used as a rental and was relocated to Florida when acquired by the 2nd owner. Currently located in Miami Springs, Florida, this GT-H is now offered with a clean CARFAX report and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in black with gold racing stripes with a power-operated black cloth retractable top.  The seller states that the car does not have any history of paint or bodywork and confirmed with no accidents or damage reports on the CARFAX.  A billet grille with both upper and lower inserts provides styling to the front end along with bumper-mounted fog lamps.  Shelby GT-H decals along the rocker panels provide visual accents to the exterior along with hood latch pins and a rear deck spoiler.

Factory 18” five-spoke black-aluminum wheels are mounted to 235-55-18 Z-rated Pirelli tires on all four corners.  The Shelby GT-H models feature upgraded handling equipment including Shelby struts, shocks, front & rear torsion bars and a front strut-tower brace.

The interior is fitted with power-adjustable black leather bucket seats with matching carpet and a black and silver two-tone dash.  The automatic transmission has a console-mounted shifter and emergency brake handle trimmed in silver, while aftermarket rubber floor mats were added to protect the carpeting.  There is a centrally-mounted plaque on the dashboard identifying the Shelby serial number as 07H320 along with a Carroll Shelby signature.  Additional features include a Shaker 500 Audio system with CD player, cruise control, power windows & locks, multi-function steering wheel, and billet pedals.

Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer, along with gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure.  The odometer reads 47k miles, 17k of which have been added by the seller over 11 years.

The 4.6-liter V8 SOHC engine is original to the car and was factory rated at 325 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque when new. All GT-H models received a Ford Performance exhaust system with X-pipe, cold air intake, and recalibrated ECU, with all work performed at Shelby American. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission, which the CARFAX notes was replaced in July 2008 at 16k miles. The seller has maintained the vehicle themselves through their ownership tenure and is currently up to date with all servicing.
