Vehicle Story

This C-code 1966 Ford Mustang coupe is powered by a rebuilt 289ci V8 backed by an automatic transmission. Features include power 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a vinyl top, manual windows, air conditioning, and an aftermarket digital AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth capability. The seller states that several new parts have been added, including a March Performance pulley system, the air conditioning system, starter, water pump, alternator, power steering, exhaust, front suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, steering wheel, Foose wheels, BFGoodrich tires, and more. This Arcadian Blue (Code F) Mustang with a light blue and white vinyl pony interior is available now and comes with parts receipts, the uninstalled original steering wheel, and a clear Mississippi title in the seller's name.

This Mustang coupe with a black vinyl top is finished in correct Arcadian Blue (Code F) as verified by the warranty tag. Features include dual headlamps, chrome front and rear bumpers, driver- and passenger-side mirrors, reverse lights, a rear-mounted fuel filler, and emblems and trim.

A set of new chrome 17-inch Foose Legend wheels are wrapped in new BFGoodrich radial tires.

The front bucket seats are upholstered in light blue pony-pattern vinyl with white inserts and complemented by a matching rear seat, trim, and door panels. Features include a light blue and white custom center console with cup holders, blue carpeting with Mustang-branded blue carpeted floor mats, seat belts, manual windows, a white dashboard with a blue top pad, an aftermarket digital stereo with Bluetooth, woodgrain accents, and a new reduced-diameter 3-spoke Mustang steering wheel with a wood grip. The seller states that the uninstalled original steering wheel is included with the sale.

A 140-mph speedometer with an odometer reading 49,211 miles and gauges for the oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level are mounted in a factory panel with woodgrain accents. True mileage is unknown.

The power is provided by a rebuilt 289ci V8 backed by an automatic transmission. Features include a chrome aftermarket Monte Carlo bar, aftermarket finned aluminum valve covers, and an aluminum intake with a 4-barrel carburetor and an open-element air cleaner. New parts include the starter, water pump, March Performance serpentine accessory drive system, exhaust, ceramic headers, AlloyWorks electric fan and aluminum radiator, chrome alternator, and aftermarket air conditioning.

This Mustang came from the factory equipped with an independent coil spring front suspension, leaf springs, and a solid rear axle. According to the seller, the front suspension, shocks, power steering, 4-wheel disc brakes, and gas tank are new.

Parts receipts and the uninstalled original steering wheel are included with the sale.

@CharlieJr – Nice car that appears to be well done. When was the engine rebuilt, date and mileage? Transmission c4 (3 speed automatic)? How old is paint job and vinyl top? To what extent has the wiring and fuse box been updated/replaced? Thanks! ...

Oh wires was gone through about 2 years ago also. Tested and some upgrades were done due to radiator with electric fan.

I had the motor pulled and gone through and upgraded 2 years ago. It has been driven no more than 1,000 miles. When I bought the car 3 years ago, I was told the vinyl top was new and it appears to be. The paint was in very good condition when I bought it. I did send to body shop for detail work. It is a 3 speed automatic. Attached in listing are the receipts for the upgrades. Most parts came from cypony, jegs or classic industries. I will be happy to answer any questions or post any pictures you request. I really appreciate your interest. Thanks Jim
