This 1969 Plymouth GTX is powered by a 440ci V8 engine backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, an AM radio, and an Air Grabber-style hood. This metallic silver GTX with a black vinyl roof over a black vinyl interior is available now and comes with a clear title from the selling dealer.
Finished in silver metallic with black hood and rocker accents, this GTX features quad headlamps with black grill, hood pins, chrome front and rear bumpers, dual chrome rearview mirrors with driver’s side remote, black vinyl top, wheel opening moldings, and GTX emblems.
A set of aftermarket aluminum Magnum 500-style 15-inch wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
The front bucket seats and matching rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include power steering and brakes, black interior trim with woodgrain accents, a black headliner, black carpeting with black rubber and carpet GTX-branded floor mats, a black center console, manual windows, an AM radio, air conditioning, a black steel dashboard with a black top pad, and a 3-spoke padded steering wheel with a half horn ring. An aftermarket digital stereo head unit is mounted below the dashboard.
A 150-mph speedometer with a 5-place odometer showing 13,217 miles, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level display important vehicle information. An aftermarket set of three gauges with readouts for the voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature is mounted underneath the dashboard.
The power is provided by a 440ci V8 engine backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. Features include MSD ignition, an aftermarket air conditioning compressor, a dual-snorkel closed-element air cleaner with a Super Commando 440 logo, and cast iron exhaust manifolds.
This GTX comes factory-equipped with a torsion-bar independent front suspension, leaf spring-mounted rear drive axle, and power 4-wheel drum brakes. According to the selling dealer, the body floors are clean and solid without undercoating, and red oxide primer is visible where no exterior color or undercoating was applied at the factory. A full-length dual exhaust exits underneath the rear bumper with chrome exhaust tips. Additional photos can be seen in the carousel to the right.

@abergstrom – Any body work or rust repair? Are there any leaks or weeps from the engine, oil pan or drive train? Was the engine rebuilt? Is the steering tight? Do you have a video of a cold start or engine running? ...
Yes the engine has been rebuilt and runs BEAUTIFULLY. Normal seepage from over the years on the underside. No massive leaking or problematic issues. I will post a startup video here shortly. Body is nice and solid. Do not see any rust present on the top side. Underside looks to be all original and has surface scale rust (Normal for the age).
No the engine is not numbers matching.
