13K-Mile 2008 Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake

This garage-kept 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake coupe has been driven 13,179 miles since new and is powered by a supercharged and intercooled 5.4-liter V8 paired with a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. It was originally customized at the authorized Shelby modification center in Cranston, Rhode Island and first registered in October of 2007. Codenamed the S197 internally, the fifth-generation Mustang pony car went into production for the 2005 model year with a design by Sid Ramnarace. Ford’s Special Vehicles Team (SVT) rolled out a Shelby GT500 variant two years later as a successor to the 2003-2004 SVT Cobra. This GT500 is painted Alloy (code G5) with matte black accent striping. The supercharged and intercooled 5.4-liter V8 uses a Kenne Bell supercharger and a Superchips tuner with a resulting power output in excess of 725 horsepower, according to the seller. Recent maintenance includes an oil change. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual transmission and Richmond 3.73 gears.
