1966 Ford F100

OVERVIEW

This 1966 Ford F100 project truck is powered by a Ford V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. Features include power steering and brakes, air conditioning, and manual windows. Recent work included a tuneup, carburetor adjustment, and respray of the besides. Finished in white and blue over a blue vinyl interior, this F100 comes with a new spare Holley Street Avenger carburetor and a clear Pennsylvania title in the seller's name.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

According to the seller, this truck was originally purchased in Mexico and cosmetically restored in Texas. The bed sides were recently professionally repainted and features include chrome bumpers, dual headlights, a chrome grille, dual mirrors, a Styleside short bed, dual taillights with integrated reverse lights, tailgate trim, and white Ford lettering.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of blue steel wheels with dog dish hub caps and trim rings is wrapped in whitewall radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The bench seat is upholstered with blue vinyl. Interior features include blue door panel inserts with manual windows, white sheet metal and headliner, and blue carpeting with blue carpeted floor mats. Additional features include air conditioning, a digital AM/FM stereo, a white steel dashboard with a blue vinyl top pad, a column-mounted automatic shifter, power steering, and power brakes.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located in a silver panel ahead of the driver. An aftermarket set of three gauges with readouts for the coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage is mounted under the dashboard. The seller states that some of the factory gauges, including the odometer, are not functioning. The speedometer was reportedly working the last time the truck was driven. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a Ford V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. Underhood features include power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, and an aluminum radiator. The seller states that this truck has undergone a recent tuneup to include new caps, rotor, spark plugs, and fuel pump. Additional work was performed on the carburetor and the vehicle is reported to start and run well. The sale will include a new Holley Street Avenger carburetor with choke. UNDERCARRIAGE

This truck was factory-equipped with a twin I-beam independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel power drum brakes. A dual-exhaust system exits ahead of the rear axle. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the carousel.
