1992 Chevrolet C1500

This 1992 Chevrolet C1500 regular-cab 2WD pickup has been driven fewer than 5,000 miles since the installation of a newer 350ci V8 and sends power to the pavement through a 4-speed automatic transmission and a set of 20-inch polished aluminum wheels. Equipment includes power conveniences, a drop-in bed liner, a lowered suspension, and chrome bumpers. Brought to market for the 1988 model year, the fourth generation of the C/K series of Chevrolet pickups was produced on the GMT400 platform in the full-size segment. Subsequent exterior revisions were made to the headlamp design, grille, and trim options. This 1992 C1500 2WD regular-cab fleetside truck was repainted matte black and has brightwork for the bumpers and grille. The exterior features a front chin spoiler, body-colored mirror caps, and a drop-in plastic Protecta bed liner in the cargo area.

Aluminum five-spoke 20-inch wheels with polished lips are set inside of low-profile tires. The suspension has been lowered and uses an independent setup in the front along with a multi-leaf two-stage setup at the back. Braking is provided by power-assisted discs at the front and drums at the rear.

The interior is furnished with a gray cloth bench seat along with matching door panels, dash, and carpeting. Features include air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, and a modern AM/FM/CD stereo.

Instrumentation consists of an 85-mph speedometer, a 5K-rpm tachometer, and supplementary gauges for the coolant temperature, voltage, fuel level, and oil pressure. A six-digit mechanical odometer tracks accrued mileage. According to the selling dealer, the truck has covered fewer than 5,000 miles since the newer engine was installed. A pair of aftermarket auxiliary gauges have been installed under the dashboard.

The fuel-injected 350ci V8 with Edelbrock valve covers sends power to the rear wheels via a column-shifted 4-speed automatic transmission.
