No Reserve: 30th Anniversary 1997 Chevrolet Camaro SS

This 1997 Chevrolet Camaro SS has more than $6,500 in SLP (Street Legal Performance) parts which were ordered by the original owner, including a composite hood with cold air induction, 17-inch C4 Corvette ZR-1-style wheels, a stainless steel performance exhaust system, and a Level II Bilstein sport suspension. SLP build number 1,082 is powered by a fuel-injected 350ci V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission and equipped with air conditioning, power windows and locks, power steering and braking, and a Delco AM/FM/cassette radio. Finished in Bright Red over a Medium Gray leather interior, this fourth-generation Camaro is available now and comes with a build sheet, an owner's manual, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Ohio title in the seller's name.

Finished in Bright Red, the car sports black SS accents and is equipped with dark window tinting, fog lights, and removable glass T-tops. An additional $6,894 in SLP parts was added to turn this car into a Camaro SS. These include a composite hood with cold air induction, a raised rear deck spoiler, and a stainless steel performance exhaust system with dual finishers. This example has tags under the hood and on the driver's side door jam as shown in the gallery. The seller notes a small dent located on the lower passenger-side quarter panel along with water some water damage in the t-top headliner on the passenger side.

The car rolls on a set of 17" x 9" C4 Corvette ZR-1-style wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires. SLP's enhanced suspension components include a large-diameter front sway bar and a Level II Bilstein sport suspension. Power steering and power braking through 4-wheel discs complete the handing hardware package. 

The interior features Medium Gray leather upholstery and power windows, locks, and mirrors; air conditioning; Camaro SS floor mats, and a Delco AM/FM sound system with a cassette player. 

Instrumentation is comprised of a 155-mph speedometer and 7K-rpm tachometer along with dials for the fuel level, battery voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. According to the seller, the odometer currently shows 32,200 miles, which is in line with the last mileage figure of 32,171 miles entered on the CARFAX report in May of 2021. 

The engine bay houses a 350ci LT1 V8 equipped with fuel injection and SLP upgrades including a performance cold air intake system and an oil cooler. The SLP upgrades reportedly increased the horsepower from 285hp to 305hp. Shifting is done through a 4-speed automatic. The oil was last changed in the spring of 2021.

The underside of the car features SLP's stainless steel performance exhaust system as well as a Torsen limited-slip rear differential.

The CARFAX report starts in December of 1996 and shows the vehicle has had an accident-free history in Illinois, Alabama, and Ohio. The seller has posted three videos of the car below and will include a build sheet. an owner's manual, and original sales brochures as part of the sale.
