This 1966 Cadillac Sedan DeVille four-door convertible receives power from a big-block 429ci V8 coupled with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Options include power steering, power brakes, a power-operated retractable top, and whitewall tires. Finished in Turquoise Metallic with a white cloth top over a turquoise vinyl interior, this third-generation DeVille is now offered by the selling dealer with service records, books, manuals, three sets of keys, a vinyl convertible boot, and a clear California title.
The DeVille nameplate was used across eight generations in the Cadillac lineup beginning in model year 1958. The third-generation was brought to market in 1965 on the General Motors C-body platform using the same 129.5” wheelbase from prior versions but with redefined styling elements. This DeVille four-door from 1966 is configured with a power-retractable convertible body style and the selling dealer asserts that it is one of just 14 units produced of its kind. The exterior paint finish in Turquoise Metallic is contrasted by the white cloth top which is said to seal well. Exterior features include stacked quad headlights, a power antenna, corrosion-free brightwork, rear fender skirts, and chrome tailfins.
Steel 15” wheels with full covers and Cadillac crests are mounted to whitewall tires with good tread remaining. Handling is assisted by both power steering and power brakes.
The two-bench interior displays reupholstered turquoise vinyl seats, matched to the lap belts, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, aluminum accent trim, and a fold-down center armrest. The carpeted trunk contains a spare tire in a vinyl cover.
Instrumentation is highlighted by a sweeping 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 94k miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The big-block 429ci V8 is fed by a four-barrel carburetor and reportedly runs well per the selling dealer, with recent maintenance including work to the air conditioning system with a new compressor and dryer. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted 3-speed automatic transmission.
The sale includes service records dating back to 1988, a white vinyl convertible boot, three sets of keys, books, and manuals. A $150 dealer fee will be added to the purchase price.

@bvj126 – Could you explain the piece that appears to be broken in picture #50? ...
It is a plastic piece, and yes the top half broke some years ago, it does not do anything except for cosmetic appearance and holds the oil change / vin number plaque that is still there
