This 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne coupe is finished in Ermine white over red interior. Power is provided by a 350ci V8 paired with a newly installed 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Upgraded components include Ridetech suspension, aftermarket wheels, air conditioning, and aluminum radiator. Acquired by the seller approximately a year ago, the Biscayne is located in Gilbert Arizona, and offered for sale with a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.
Originally finished in Ermine white, the car retains its original color. The exterior remains largely unmodified and stock in appearance, features include a B-pillar between the side windows, rounded bullet taillights, and dual headlights. Polished trim runs the length of the car on both sides with "Biscayne" scripts on the quarter panels.
Newly installed 15” American Racing wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires measuring 225/40 and 275/40 on the front and rear. The suspension has been upgraded with components from Ridetech which include shocks, springs, bushings, and sway bars. Braking has been upgraded with power-assisted discs on the front, while factory-style drums remain on the rear.
The interior features bench seats upholstered in red vinyl with matching door panels, carpet, and dash. An aftermarket A/C unit has been installed under the dash with integrated controls. The factory radio has been replaced with a vintage look unit in the stock location and speakers have been added to the doors.
A strip-style 120-mph speedometer sits behind a red-spoke steering wheel, while additional gauges for engine temperature and fuel level are located below the speedometer. The dash face features metal trim with polished bezels around the switches.
Power comes from a 350ci V8 that has been upgraded with an Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor and intake manifold as well as HEI ignition. A Champion aluminum radiator with electric fans has been added for improved cooling and the exhaust system features ceramic coated Hedman headers with manual cutouts. Power is sent to the 12-bolt rear end through a 700R4 automatic transmission. The seller states the car has also received a brand new power steering conversion.
