This 60K-mile 1965 Volkswagen Beetle two-door sedan is powered by an upgraded 1500cc dual-port flat-four engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include a 12-volt electrical system conversion, the reportedly original floor pans, pop-out quarter windows, a roof-mounted basket, and U.S.-spec bumpers and lights. This light blue Beetle with a white vinyl interior is available now and comes with a clear Florida title from the seller.
This Beetle has been owned by the seller for eight years and was repainted once in the reportedly original light blue color under previous ownership. Features include U.S.-spec bumpers and lights, new body and window rubber, a roof-mounted basket with wood slats, rubber running boards, and a driver-side chrome mirror housing. According to the seller, all components of the car have been restored to their original working order, but there is 1/2 inch rust spot next to the exhaust pipe.
A set of original 5-lug steel wheels finished in white and light blue wear VW-branded chrome hub caps and whitewall radial tires.
The front bucket seats, rear seat, and door panels are upholstered in white vinyl. Features include a white vinyl headliner, manual windows, door-panel pockets, a floor-mounted 4-speed manual transmission shifter, a body-color steel dashboard with an AM radio, and black carpet over the reportedly original floor pans.
A 90-mph speedometer and fuel gauge are mounted in an aluminum trim panel ahead of the driver. The white steering wheel and turn signal lever show signs of wear. The five-digit odometer shows 60K miles, which the seller states is an accurate reading.
The power is provided by an upgraded 1500cc dual-port flat-four engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. All electrical components have been converted to run 12 volts.
This Beetle was factory-equipped with a torsion bar independent front suspension and an independent swing-axle rear suspension. The stopping power is provided by manual 4-wheel drum brakes.

@dvail12 – There seems to be a fair amount of rust in unexpected places. Under the drivers Sid dash, around door hinges, etc. Can you explain? ...
Hello, there is no rust at the door hinge. There is a stain that is "rust colored" but the metal is not rusted. I cannot speak to the area under the dash as we don't have the history of the car before we purchased it. It has been garage-kept clean and dry during our time.
