This 1932 Ford roadster custom build is the product of a three-year assembly process completed in 2007 and has been driven 2,200 miles since then. Power is sourced from a big-block Chevrolet 572ci V8 with ceramic-coated headers, side pipes, and a heavy-duty radiator, and sent through a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission and a 9-inch rear end with a locking differential. This Roadster also has custom touches such as AutoMeter gauges, embroidered upholstery, and a custom rear roll pan. Finished in black with a black BopTop removable cloth roof over a black vinyl interior, this roadster is now offered with receipts, build documentation, and a clear Kansas title.
This custom-built roadster was completed in 2007 after three years under construction by Suburban Rod & Custom Classics in Merriam, Kansas. It is based on a Pete & Jakes frame mated to a Rod Bods steel body and features an exterior painted with black Dupont paint and dressed with chromed and polished accessories. Features include a visible engine bay and exhaust system, steel rear fenders, a custom rear roll pan, recessed and frenched 1939 Ford taillights, and a BopTop removable top.
The 15-inch Billet Specialties front and 18-inch Billet Specialties Vintec rear wheels are wrapped in staggered-sized Michelin tires that measure 185/65 at the front and 285/60 at the back. The chassis uses a drilled polished aluminum I-beam front axle.
The two-seat interior is fitted with black vinyl low-back buckets with custom embroidery, matched to the remainder of the interior. Features include a banjo-style steering wheel and a carpeted trunk area.
AutoMeter instrumentation is set within a ribbed aluminum bezel and includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. A five-digit mechanical odometer tracks mileage. According to the seller, only 2,200 miles have been put on the car since the build was completed.
The crate-sourced big-block Chevrolet 572ci V8 is rated at 620 horsepower per the seller. Performance upgrades include ceramic-coated headers with Sanderson Headers side-pipe turnouts, a chrome-finished mini-starter, a chromed alternator, a high-volume aluminum water pump, polished aluminum pulleys, a Griffin heavy-duty radiator and fan assembly, and an under-body transmission cooler with a fan. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 4-speed Chevrolet 700R4 automatic transmission with a kick-down kit and a custom driveline assembly bolted to the Ford 9-inch rear end with a 3.50:1 locking differential.
The sale includes receipts and build documentation. The seller has provided a start-up video in the gallery to the right.

No, this is a Rod Bods complete steel body (high boy style). All new, including new custom firewall, specially manufactured to fit 572 big block. The custom made steel rear fenders and steel rear roll pan. The doors still fit up and shut the way they did when built. Therefore, you won’t find any stress cracks or stress marks.

Hi All, if you are seriously looking for a one of a kind custom built, no expense spared turn key hot rod, this is it. Everything on this car was either purchased new or custom made and professionally built at a cost of over $120,000. Doors and rear deck lid gaps are perfect and the show quality paint still shines as it did when the build was completed in 2007. This is not a backyard build. We have full documentation (including photos) throughout the build that will go with the car. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Yes, the one piece soft top is removable..
is top removable?
