This unrestored 1946 Dodge DD2-33 pickup is powered by a 228ci flathead inline-6 engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include a wiper motor converted to 6-volt power, heater, an aftermarket turn signal assembly, manual windows, and bedside stakes. This blue Dodge 1-ton truck with a new blue and brown vinyl interior is available now and comes with repair manuals, receipts, uninstalled new and old parts, and an Alberta, Canada Vehicle Registration Certificate.
The body of this Dodge truck still wears the blue factory finish. Features include a tilt-out front windshield, dual headlights, front and rear bumpers, a cab-mounted fuel tank, bedside stakes, and a bed-mounted spare. A video of the truck driving can be seen in the carousel to the right. The seller notes that new lights have been installed.
A set of 6-spoke red steel wheels are wrapped in new Toyo Hyparadial ST tires.
The front bench seat and matching door panels were recently reupholstered in blue and brown vinyl. Features include a brown vinyl headliner, rubber floor mat with a tread plate pattern, heater, floor-mounted 4-speed manual transmission shifter, steel dashboard finished in dark blue, and an aftermarket turn signal assembly.
An 80-mph speedometer and gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and amps are mounted in a panel ahead of the driver. The windshield wiper has been converted from a vacuum system to 6-volt electrical power. According to the seller, all gauges and lights operate as intended and still run on the 6-volt electrical system. The odometer reportedly shows a reading of 80,533 kilometers, but the true amount of kilometers on the truck is unknown.
The power is provided by a 228ci flathead inline-6 backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include an oil-bath air filter, a rebuilt single-barrel carburetor, a firewall-mounted coil, and cast iron intake and exhaust manifolds. A video of the truck running can be seen in the carousel to the right.
This pickup was originally equipped with a solid I-beam front axle and solid rear drive axle on a perimeter frame. The stopping power is provided by manual hydraulic drum brakes. According to the seller, new brakes, brake lines, wheel bearings, and kingpins as well as a new fuel tank were recently installed.
Repair manuals, receipts, and uninstalled new and old parts are included with the sale.
