This 1934 Chevrolet Roadster is finished in light blue with a dark blue Carson soft top and a navy-blue leather interior. Power is provided by a 427ci V8 sourced from a 1968 Corvette and paired with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission and 9" Ford rear end. The car was originally built by Wolfman's Rod Shop of Kissimmee, Florida, in the early '90s as a personal car for the shop owner and was acquired by the seller in 1996. Located in Highland, California, this 1934 Chevrolet is now offered with service records from the current owner's tenure and currently titled in California as a 1934 Chevrolet.
Finished in light blue, the fenderless body is a Downs Industries composite reproduction and features a dark blue Carson soft top. A partial repaint was performed two years ago to repair checking along the sides and rear deck, while the hood and windshield surround are finished in the original lacquer paint from when the car was built. The front end is equipped with an egg crate style grille and chrome headlights, while the exposed front axle is finished in a darker blue. All exterior handles and latches have been smoothed over, while billet accents are featured in the dual side mirrors and taillight bezels.
The car rides on custom Boyd Coddington billet wheels measuring 15x8 on the front while rears measure 15x15 with Mickey Thompson tires all around. The suspension was recently overhauled with new bushings, the front features a street-front axle with 2" drop and chrome link bars, while the rear consists of a custom 5-link setup. Coil-overs are installed front and rear while discs on all four corners provide braking.
The interior features a bench seat newly upholstered in Ralph Lauren blue leather, along with newly installed classic Mercedes dark blue weave carpeting with leather trim. Power windows are equipped with switches mounted on the outside of the light blue dash. The 4-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in matching leather and mounted to a billet steering column with tilt capability. A ratchet shifter for the automatic transmission is mounted to the floor, while shoulder harness belts have been added for safety. The trunk is fully upholstered in matching leather.
Instrumentation consists of a horizontal digital gauge cluster surrounded by a billet bezel. True mileage is unknown; the seller estimates they have put 1500 miles on the car in 24 years of ownership.
Under the hood sits a 427ci V8 engine sourced from a 1968 Corvette. The block was bored .30 over and is equipped with rectangular port heads and dual 780-cfm four-barrel carburetors. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with B&M Shift kit and a 2500 stall converter. A Ford 9" rear with 3.55 gears is also equipped.
The body is mounted to a custom fabricated tubular chassis finished blue. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery.
Included in the sale are various service records from the seller's ownership tenure.
