This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL is finished in Smoke Silver with a black canvas soft top over a burgundy leather interior. Powered by its original 5.6-liter V8 engine, power is sent to the rear wheels through the original 4-speed automatic transmission. The car underwent a comprehensive service when acquired by the seller two years ago to make it fully roadworthy. Factory options include power steering and brakes, cruise control, air conditioning, and a color-matched removable hardtop. Showing 121K miles on the odometer, this R107 comes with full-service records from new, original window sticker, clean CARFAX, and a clear Arizona title in the sellers name.
Finished in Smoke Silver the paint is original per the seller, and the CARFAX shows no reports of accidents or damage. The car has the factory removable painted to match hardtop as well as a power black canvas soft top with a plastic rear window. The soft top had a rip approximately three-inches long that has been professionally repaired, photos are available in the gallery. Sold new in San Fransisco, the car is equipped with US spec bumpers while fog lights are featured on the front lower air dam. Chrome wheel well trim and windshield surround are original and free of pitting or blemishes.
Factory 15” Gullideckel wheels are mounted to Fulda Assuro tires measuring 215/65 on all four corners. The brakin.g system consists of anti-lock discs all around with power-assist.
Inside, the R107 is upholstered in burgundy red leather with matching door panels and carpets. Features include power windows, power locks & antenna, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a newly installed Kenwood head unit with Bluetooth capability.
Instrumentation includes a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer with 6k-rpm redline, a clock along with gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, instant economy, and coolant temperature. A six-digit analog odometer shows over 121K miles, 2K of which were added by the seller over 2 years of ownership.
Under the hood sits the factory original 5.6-liter V8, rated from new at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels the factory's original 4-speed automatic transmission. All maintenance has been documented from new, including all records and receipts from work performed during the sellers ownership.
Included in the sale are all service records from new as well as the original window sticker. Additionally included are two sets of keys, the original owners manual, and a manual for the Kenwood stereo head unit.

The car is in excellent running condiition. When i bought it, I had all mechanical systems checked and replaced as necessary. I have taken the car on one long trip--Tucson to Las Vegas and back without difficulty.
Thank you Speed. I do have a reserve price but at this early stage of the auction prefer not to publish it. I do know how much I paid for the car, and how much I have spent in mechanical upgrades.
