This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro was purchased by the current owner and repainted in 2008. It draws power from a 454ci V8 connected to an MSD ignition system and a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission. Exterior features include an L88-style hood, chrome bumpers, glasspack mufflers, Cragar wheels, and a 3-piece rear spoiler. The cabin is equipped with front bucket seats with headrests, manual crank windows, and aftermarket gauges. Refinished in silver with black full-length stripes over a black vinyl and fabric interior, this second-generation Camaro is available now and comes with receipts, records, and a clear California title in the seller's name.
Chevrolet introduced the second generation of the Camaro for the 1970 model year. In addition to being longer, lower, and wider than its predecessor, it was marketed by Chevrolet as a "Super Hugger" that was "sort of like a 4-place Vette." This example from the launch year was repainted silver with black stripes that run from the nose all the way back to the trunk lid. Features include one-piece chrome bumpers, an L88-style hood, body-color mirror caps, and a 3-piece rear spoiler.
The car rolls on a set of 5-spoke Cragar wheels with Goodyear Eagle GTII front and Mickey Thompson rear tires. According to the seller, the tires need to be replaced because of their age, not their condition.
Inside, this Camaro is furnished with black fabric and vinyl bucket front and bucket-style rear seats, a black dashboard, and a color-matched headliner, door panels, and carpeting. Equipment includes manual crank windows, a remotely adjustable driver's mirror, front headrests, a floor-mounted automatic shifter, and a front passenger-side lap belt.
Important vehicle information is delivered through a set of aftermarket gauges that includes a 140-mph speedometer, 10K-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The seller reports they have put 500 miles on the car since their build was completed, but true mileage is unknown.
The L88-style hood covers a 454ci V8 with an MSD ignition system. Output is 496 horsepower, according to the seller, who does not recommend this car be used as a daily driver. Power is sent to the road through a TH400 automatic transmission with a high-stall torque converter and a 12-bolt rear end.
The current exhaust setup consists of headers connected to glasspack mufflers, but does not have any additional piping to the rear of the car. According to the seller, the rear air shocks were replaced in 2018.
The sale includes receipts and records.

Everything working, no air, front disc brakes, drums rear. Have records of all parts of rebuild. Car was stripped down to frame and then rebuild, front hood is fiberglass.
Is everything on the car currently working properly such as the instruments, wipers etc. It looks like a non-air-conditioned, power steering, non-power brake car. Does it have front discs or is it four wheel disc? Are there any receipts or documentation for the engine rebuild and its service? Thank you
