This 1961 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe "Bubble Top" is powered by a 409ci V8 engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include an AM/FM radio, power windows, manual brakes, and manual steering. This black Impala with a tri-tone blue vinyl and cloth interior is available now and comes from the selling dealer with uninstalled parts and a clear California title.
As the body plate indicates, the exterior was originally coated in Ermine White (936). It was subsequently refinished in black with blue side trim inserts. Features include chrome bumpers, quad headlights, an aluminum grille, fender ornaments, a driver-side mirror, and six taillights with reverse lights.
A set of aluminum 5-spoke American Racing Torque Thrust D wheels are wrapped in radial tires.
The front bench seat, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered with various tones of blue vinyl and blue cloth. Features include an aftermarket AM/FM radio, blue carpeting with blue carpet floor mats, a floor-mounted manual shifter, power windows, manual brakes, manual steering, and a steel dashboard finished in blue.
A 120-mph sweep speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, clock, and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are mounted in an aluminum panel ahead of the driver. True mileage on the vehicle is unknown.
Power is provided by a 409ci V8 engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include cast iron exhaust manifolds, an aluminum intake, silver valve covers with 409 logos, a dual-snorkel closed-element air cleaner, and a generator.
This Impala was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle on an X frame. Stopping power is provided by manual drum brakes. The engine breathes through a full-length dual-exhaust system.
Uninstalled parts are included with the sale of the vehicle.

Yes the motor was recently gone through less than 10000 miles ago
Was the engine freshened or rebuilt prior to installing in the car? If not, do you have any idea of original mileage on the engine etc.?
