This restored 1958 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe is powered by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 engine connected to headers, a tri-power intake, and a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include Cragar wheels, BFGoodrich tires, an aftermarket stereo, MSD ignition, manual brakes, and manual steering. This award-winning white Impala with a black vinyl interior comes from the selling dealer with a trophy and a clear Virginia title.
The body was refinished in white in approximately 2013. Features include quad headlights, chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, full-length bodyside trim, rocker trim, six taillights with reverse lights, and door handle scratch guards.
The 15-inch Cragar SS chrome wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires that measure 215/70R/15 in the front and 235/60/R15 at the rear. According to the selling dealer, the tires have 2013 DOT codes.
The front bench seat, rear seat, rear interior trim, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include a floor-mounted 4-speed manual shifter, manual windows, manual steering and brakes, and an aftermarket JVC radio with a CD player.
A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the coolant temperature and fuel level are located in a panel ahead of the driver. Auxiliary gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are mounted under the dashboard. The odometer reads 48,756 miles. The selling dealer states the true mileage is unknown but believes the odometer has rolled over and that the mileage is 148,756.
Power is provided by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 engine with a tri-power intake. Output is delivered to the road through a 4-speed manual transmission and the rear wheels. Underhood features include a polished aluminum intake, an open-element air cleaner, chrome valve covers, and MSD ignition. According to the seller, the car has had a recent tune-up that included new spark plugs and a fluid check. The seller also notes that an exhaust leak from the driver-side header is present.
This 1958 Impala came factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. A full-length dual-exhaust system ends at the rear of the car. The seller notes slight rust under the car. Additional photos can be seen in the carousel to the right.
The selling dealer charges a $299 documentation fee in addition to the sale price.
