Vehicle Story

This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro RS with 11,700 original miles has been in the same family since the 1980s and is powered by an upgraded 1971 Camaro Z28 350ci V8 backed by a Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering, power brakes, a rear spoiler, bucket seats, and an AM/FM stereo. This Dark Red Metallic second-generation Camaro with a black vinyl interior is available now and comes with the removed original L65 350ci V8 engine and M20 4-speed manual gearbox, documentation, an owner's manual, a brochure, the original window sticker and purchase contract, and an Ontario, Canada vehicle permit.

This Camaro reportedly still wears its original factory-applied Dark Red Metallic paint. The body has never been painted, repaired, or restored in any way, according to the seller. Features include the RS package, a split chrome front bumper, dual headlights, rocker trim, a chrome rear bumper, front and rear spoilers, quad taillights with reverse lights, and the original factory markings in the door jamb.

The original set of 15-inch gray stamped steel wheels with blue Chevrolet-branded center caps and stainless trim rings is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

The front bucket seats, rear seat, and door panels are upholstered in the factory-installed black vinyl. Other original features include black carpet, manual windows, GM rubber floor mats, a black padded dashboard, an AM/FM stereo, a day/night rearview mirror, power steering, and power brakes. The trunk contains the original spare tire.

A 130-mph speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, clock, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, and coolant temperature are located in a panel ahead of the driver. An aftermarket oil pressure gauge is mounted to the dashboard under the radio. The odometer reads 11,772 miles, which is an accurate reading according to the seller.

Power is provided by an upgraded 1971 Z28 Camaro 350ci V8 that produces a seller-reported 360 horsepower and sends it to the road through an upgraded aluminum Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission. According to the seller, the powertrain has 6K miles on it. Features include high-compression flat-top pistons, roller rockers, hydraulic lifters, a 750cfm Holley Double Pumper carburetor, power steering, finned aluminum valve covers, headers, a dual-snorkel air cleaner housing with a chrome lid, and an aluminum intake. The seller states no service is due but recommends an oil change. This Camaro came factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. The original rear gearing has been replaced with a 3.73:1 ratio.

The removed original L65 350ci V8 engine and M20 4-speed manual gearbox, documentation, an owner's manual, a brochure, and the original window sticker and purchase contract are included with the sale of the vehicle. The seller has posted a 4-minute video that shows the car in greater detail below.

@69ZGuy – It like to bid on your car but your not answering any of the questions being asked. I'm from Pennsylvania and need to know the process on getting a car purchased in Canada into the USA? What is the transfore tax and any other fees I'd have to pay? Do you have a clear title on the car? I own a car trailer and would pick the car up. Please follow up as I'd like to offer you much more then the currant bid. Thanks ...

Hi Again... As far as Taxes to USA there is none. I know because my buddy bought a porsche from a chap in Colorado, and no tax at that point. Only tax was when you registered it to your local town or state, but Zero dollars from Canada. Works both ways.

Hello Camaro lovers. As far as title is concerned, I purchased the car from a family member which purchased it from the 1st owner in Cleveland, and it is free of license or Incumbreces. 100% clean.

@Comarin – Hi . Yellow markings was told to me that it was done on the production line referring to shift and unit off line. It was told to me by a person who worked in a GM facility.. Hello.. I m in Mississauga , Ontario. Hi regarding cursing speeds, I never really looked at tac. But let's say it's not a Honda civic when it comes to fuel economy. It is a head tuner ...that's for sure. If they don't see it they will hear it. ...

Hi ...My friends all have Muscle cars, and lot of them tinker with their toys, and no one has mentioned noises that you refer to. If fact I was watching a Tom cruise movie and his 1971 Chevy Chevelle in the movie sounded Exactly the same as mine. Tom Reicher I think it was called. It kinds freaked me out.
