Vehicle Story

This 1964 Ford Ranchero is powered by a rebuilt 260ci V8 engine, with a seller reported 164-hp, backed by a Borg Warner 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter.  Features include disc brakes, locking rear Protect-O-Top, rubber bed mat, aftermarket digital stereo with CD player, and factory bucket seats and center console. This black 1964 Ford Ranchero with black sheep skin seat covered Factory bucket seats is available now and comes with a locking car cover, original 1964 Comet and Falcon shop manual, and a clear California title from the seller.

The exterior has been finished in black. Features include chrome bumpers, dual headlights with aluminum grill, dual taillights, locking Protect-O-Top bed cover, and tinted glass.

A set of 14" polished aluminum American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are wearing 205/70/14 radial tires.

Factory bucket seats are covered with new custom black sheep skin covers. Features include factory center console, floor shift Borg Warner 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst Competition Plus linkage, manual steering and brakes, manual windows, new black headliner, and Alpine AM/FM stereo with CD player and amplifier. Additional features include black steel dashboard with black vinyl top pad, chrome glove box door, carpeted dash mat, black carpet with black carpet Ford logo floor mats, and 4-spoke aluminum steering wheel with black leather grip.

A 120-mph sweep speedometer, gas gauge, and a factory coolant temperature gauge are mounted in a black panel ahead of the driver. A set of two aftermarket Stuart Warner gauges, including oil pressure and coolant temperature, are mounted in a chrome bezel under the dashboard, while an 8K-rpm Sun Super Tach II is mounted to the steering column. The odometer reads 78,340 miles but the true milage is unknown.

The power is provided by a rebuilt 260ci V8 with a seller reported 164-hp backed by a Borg Warner 4-speed manual transmission. Under-hood features include Ranchero logo black finned valve covers, chrome air cleaner with 260ci decal, aftermarket aluminum radiator, Edlebrock intake and carburetor, Doug’s Jet-Coated headers, Pertronix electronic ignition, aluminum oil pan, a new Duralast Gold battery, new timing cover gasket, and an aluminum coolant overflow tank. Additional photos can be seen in the carousel to the right.

This Ranchero is factory equipped with independent front suspension and solid rear drive Ford 8” axle with a rebuilt Trac-Lok with 3:25 gear. New front shocks and 1 ½ cut coils have been installed. The stopping power is provided by manual brakes with disc front and drum rear.

The seller will include an original 1964 Comet and Falcon shop manual and a locking car cover with the sale.
