This 1978 Chevrolet Camaro RS is powered by a 350ci V8 backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include T-tops, air conditioning, power steering and brakes, the LT/RS appearance package, and a Z28 hood. Additional features include a CB radio, Fuzzbuster radar detector, a Blaupunkt AM/FM/cassette radio, rear window louvers, a luggage rack, and new Cragar wheels with new Cooper tires. This black and silver second-generation Camaro with a black vinyl and gray cloth interior is available now and comes with the removed original hood, Ziebart protection documentation, and a clear Ohio title.
This Camaro reportedly wears its factory-applied black and silver paint and red decals on all of its original panels. Features include color-keyed bumpers, T-tops, a Z28 hood, rear window louvers, a factory luggage rack, sport mirror caps, and a rear spoiler.
New chrome 15" x 7" front and 15" x 10" Cragar wheels are wrapped in new Cooper radial tires.
The front bucket seats, matching rear seat, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl and gray cloth. Features include black carpeting, a black center console with a storage compartment, and a 4-speed manual shifter. Additional features include manual windows, air conditioning, power steering and brakes, a working Blaupunkt stereo with period-correct Kricket speakers, a headliner-mounted CB radio, and a Fuzzbuster radar detector.
A 130-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure are mounted in a black panel in front of the driver. The odometer reads 61K miles which the seller believes to be accurate.
Power is provided by a 350ci V8 backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include air conditioning, power steering and brakes, and a closed-element air cleaner. All original engine components and emissions controls are in place.
This Camaro came factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid axle rear. Stopping is handled by power brakes with front discs and rear drums.
The original hood, which has been drilled for hood pins, and Ziebart protection documentation is included as part of the sale.

Drivetrain is original to the car. Gear ratio is 3.42. I do not have the factory tire package.
