This restored 22-foot 1966 Chris-Craft Cutlass boat is one of only 355 made between 1964 and 1968 and is reportedly number 53 of 85 built for the 1966 model year. It draws power from a 1996 351ci Ford Windsor engine with 460 hours logged. Features include new exhaust manifolds and elbows, a convertible canopy, new freshwater cooling system plumbing, a 12-volt bilge pump, a 45-gallon gas tank with anti-rust coating, new batteries, and new varnish applied in 2017. This white and wood Chris-Craft boat comes with service records, a 2005 King trailer, ice chests, life jackets, bumpers, a Dutton-Lainson anchor kit, the "Chris-Craft Essential Guide," a convertible top with a cover, parts receipts, a bill of sale, an engine specifications sheet, and a clear California trailer title in the seller's name.
The exterior of this wooden Chris-Craft boat is finished in white, with blue accents, and natural plywood lapstrake with the deck being refinished in 2017. According to the Chris-Craft Essential Guide, the boat is 22 feet in length, 6’ 7” tall, and weighs 3,200 pounds without the trailer. A red convertible top with a storage cover is included in the sale.
The boat sits on a 2005 tandem-axle King trailer, which weighs approximately 1,000 pounds. According to the seller, the trailer and tires are in good shape and a 2-inch ball hitch is required for towing.
The interior wood surfaces were refinished in 2017. Features include a cuddy cabin with a V-berth, grey interior, grey cushions, and a fuse panel for lighting and accessories. Additional features include a natural wood engine cover, blue interior hull surfaces, a communications radio with a handset microphone, ice chests, bumpers, life jackets, and an anchor.
A set of Stuart Warner gauges includes a 6K-rpm tachometer and gauges for the voltage, oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. A Hobbs quartz hour meter, which shows 468 hours, and a compass can also be seen.
