This 1962 Lincoln Continental four-door is a turn-key, museum-shown sedan powered by a 430ci MEL V8 paired with Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection and a 3-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes new suspension hardware, disc brakes, new 20-inch wheels and tires, Vintage Air climate control, an Alpine audio system, and power convenience features. Finished in burgundy over a matching leather interior, this fourth-generation Continental is now offered with the removed original wheels with the original hub caps and newer tires, and a clear title.
The Continental full-size luxury model was first brought to the market in 1940 as the flagship of the Lincoln brand. A consolidation of the model lineup occurred in 1961 when the fourth-generation Continental became the sole model, offered as a full-size four-door sedan and convertible until a refresh in 1966. This Continental four-door sedan from 1962 was restored under prior ownership and has a straight, rust-free body with a burgundy finish. According to the seller, it was previously on display in a Colorado museum. Equipment includes quad headlights, suicide doors, bright accent trim, and script-style Continental badging.
New matte black 20-inch smooth wheels with bright center caps are wrapped in new Toyo tires. This Continental’s suspension has been refurbished, according to the seller. Steering is power-assisted. Stopping power comes from four-wheel disc brakes.
The interior is furnished with reupholstered burgundy leather bench seating front and rear, matched to the door panels and the dash and headliner, which are noted to be in good condition. The cabin is accented with woodgrain veneer panels. Amenities include a Holley Sniper fuel injection system display, power windows, a power-adjustable front seat, courtesy lights, and tinted windows. A Vintage Air air conditioning system and an Alpine stereo are mounted inside the glove compartment, with a subwoofer and a 950-watt Autotek amplifier housed in the carpeted trunk along with a spare tire.
Instrumentation is presented within an aluminum bezel and includes a sweeping 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, a coolant temperature gauge, and a fuel gauge. A five-digit mechanical odometer tracks accrued mileage, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 430ci MEL V8 has a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system and is cooled by an aluminum radiator. This powerplant was factory-rated at 300 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted 3-speed automatic transmission.
Photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.
The sale includes the removed original wheels with the original hub caps and newer tires. The seller has provided a video showcasing an exterior walkaround, an interior tour, and the vehicle’s running condition.

Yes pictures are current. Yes you can definitely have it inspected
Beautiful car!! Is the photo of EFI mechanicals (fuel lines and sending unit?) shown current? Seems to be held in place with hose clamps and black zip ties. Would you consider allowing independent inspection (I am out of state)?

@RattleandSnap – @Yaw1967 - first of all this is a really good looking car and very understated. Been looking at them for a while and thought I wanted a 67' till I saw this one. Does everything work on it - lights both interior and exterior, gauges, windows, locks and A/C? Thank you. ...
Yes, everything works on the vehicle and has a new aftermarket vintage air system in it but it is hidden in the glove box so the dash looks 100% original
