This 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray retains its original numbers-matching 350ci L82 V8 that was rebuilt within the last 500 miles and sends power to the ground through a Muncie M21 close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission and a positraction rear end. Equipment includes a rebuilt Rochester carburetor, an upgraded distributor, removable color-matched T-tops, a dual exhaust system, and a luggage rack. The seller has owned and garage-kept the vehicle for five years and has provided detailed information on the engine build. Finished in Mille Miglia Red over a black leather interior, this C3 Corvette is now offered with documentation, an assembly manual, and a copy of a clear Florida title in the seller’s name.
The third-generation Corvette went on sale for the 1968 model year offering an all-new body modeled after the Mako Shark II concept car. Exterior changes were later made in 1973 including the incorporation of a urethane front bumper in place of the previous chrome unit to comply with federal safety standards. This Corvette Stingray from 1973 underwent a reportedly $30,000 five-year restoration although it reportedly retains the majority of its original Mille Miglia Red (976) paint. The garage-kept body features pop-up headlamps, color-matched T-tops, chrome rocker moldings, a trunk-mounted luggage rack, and a dual exhaust system. The seller notes a line on the nose from a prior car bra installation, other blemishes on the nose, and small chips and scratches consistent with the vehicle’s age.
Silver 15-inch steel Rally wheels with polished trim rings are wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial G/T raised-white-letter tires. Steering and braking are both power-assisted.
The original all-black two-seat interior is fitted with leather bucket seats (404) accented by woodgrain accents on the door panels, instrument panel, and center console. An Audiovox AV-686 AM/FM/cassette radio has been installed in place of the factory head unit. Additional amenities include power windows and a tilt-adjustable steering column.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 71K miles, which is believed to be true although the actual mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The rebuilt high-performance 350ci L82 V8 is numbers-matching per the seller and has accrued less than 500 miles since a complete overhaul. This powerplant is fed by a rebuilt Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor and was rated at 250 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque when new. Upgrades include a performance camshaft, pistons, and electronic distributor. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a Muncie M21 close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission and a positraction rear end. The seller has provided the following codes related to the drivetrain specifications.

@DavidDelucia – Was vehicle in a car accident? ...
To my knowledge it has not been in an accident. The door and hood gaps look good and there were no issues in Aligning the suspension.
