This 1970 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside pickup receives power from an upgraded 327ci V8 with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a glasspack exhaust system, performance headers, and a Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission. A recent repaint was applied to the body, which features bright bumpers, bodyside moldings, wheel arch trim, and a tow package at the rear. Finished in metallic teal with a white cab over a gray cloth interior, this C10 is now offered with receipts and a clear Oklahoma title in the seller’s name.
The second generation of General Motors’ full-size pickup line was dubbed the Action Line and debuted in the 1967 model year. Side marker lights were added the following year at all four corners. In 1969, the hood and front grille were reworked. This C10 Fleetside pickup from 1970 was repainted metallic teal with a white cab in April of this year. The body is accented by wheel arch moldings, bodyside moldings, chrome brightwork, and a tow hitch. The bed is equipped with a spray-in bed liner and a tonneau cover. A dual exhaust system with glasspack mufflers has been added. The windshield was replaced this year. The seller states that there are currently trim pieces for the tailgate on backorder.
Silver 15-inch steel wheels wear polished trim rings and come wrapped in radial tires with black sidewall lettering. Stopping power comes from power-assisted discs at the front and drums in the rear.
The cab is fitted with a gray cloth bench seat with charcoal lap belts, door panels, and carpeting. Equipment includes a floor-mounted center console, a carpeted dash pad, vent windows, and an aftermarket steering wheel cover.
Instrumentation is held within a black plastic bezel and includes a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary factory gauges. An aftermarket pod with three readouts is mounted under the dash. The mechanical odometer reads 99K miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 327ci V8 was installed under prior ownership and has been upgraded with a Holley 4-barrel carburetor and headers. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine bay shows slight surface rust on the inner fender walls, per the seller.
The seller notes there is light surface rust on the frame.
The sale includes receipts.
