This upgraded 2013 Dodge Viper GTS coupe has been driven 21,883 miles since new and received over $60,000 in track-ready performance modifications including a Prefix powertrain control module, an Exoticraft rollbar, a Safecraft fire-suppression system, carbon fiber components, and an American Racing Headers exhaust system. This GTS had an original sticker price of $134,490 and was with a single owner from 2016 until now. Power from the 8.4-liter V10 is sent to the road through a Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual transmission, limited-slip differential, and 19-inch chrome-finished rear wheels with Pirelli tires. Finished in Viper GTS Blue with white stripes over a black leather interior, this final-generation Viper is now offered by the selling dealer with service records, an upgrades sheet, Mopar lacquer touch-up paint, an owner's manual, parts and service manuals, an indoor car cover, two sets of track wheels and tires, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.
Brought to market initially in 1991 as a two-seat sports car, the Viper supercar evolved through subsequent iterations with engineering updates in 1996, 2003, 2008, and finally in 2013. The fifth generation (VX) launched a completely new redesign from Scott Krugger and was first unveiled at the New York International Auto Show. This Viper GTS coupe from that year was painted Viper GTS Blue as a $1,000 paint upgrade and features white accent stripes, side exhaust outlets, Xpel paint protection film, SRT carbon fiber front splitters, and a rear spoiler.
Polished aluminum 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels are wrapped in Pirelli tires. The DSC active suspension has four-mode electronic stability control with anti-roll bars both front and rear. Braking comes via four-wheel anti-lock discs with red-finished calipers, StopTech braided stainless-steel lines, and Hawk pads.
The two-seat interior is fitted with a $9,500 Laguna Interior package with premium leather on the seats and throughout the cabin. Upgrades include an Exoticraft rollbar, a Safecraft fire-suppression system, and six-point racing harnesses for the black bucket seats. Additional features include an 18-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, automatic climate control, a rear backup camera, Sirius XM and HD radio connectivity, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, a short-throw shifter with a leather shift knob, and power-adjustable pedals.
Instrumentation is held within a leather instrument panel with accent stitching and includes a 220-mph speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 21,883 miles, which is a true reading supported by the CARFAX report.
The 8.4-liter SFI V10 was factory rated at 640 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque when new. This Viper has been further upgraded with $60,000 in modifications as shown in the photo carousel and produced 700 horsepower on a dynamometer, according to the selling dealer. Highlights include a triple-disc carbon clutch, a steel flywheel, a Prefix Stage I Venom powertrain control module, an aluminum underdrive crank pulley, a Doug Shelby catch can kit, and more. The exhaust system has been upgraded to an American Racing Headers setup. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a console-shifted Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential with 3.55 gearing.
Photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.
The CARFAX report shows an accident- and damage-free vehicle history. The sale includes service records, an upgrades sheet, Mopar lacquer touch-up paint, an owner's manual, parts and service manuals, an indoor car cover, two sets of track wheels and tires, and more as shown in the photo gallery. The selling dealer has posted a video showing the car in greater detail in the gallery to the right.
