This rust-free 1984 Mercedes-Benz 500 SEL sedan with its original paint has been with the seller for 23 years and is powered by a 5.0-liter M117 V8 backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. The exterior retains the original factory-applied gold finish. Features include a color-keyed power sunroof, brown lower-body cladding and bumpers, U.S.-spec headlights and taillights, a chrome grille, color-keyed mirror caps, and a power antenna. The seller notes a few scratches in the paint.

A set of 14-inch Mercedes alloy wheels with correct center caps is wrapped in radial tires. According to the seller, the tires are four years old and have logged 2K miles.

The heated leather power front and rear seats are upholstered with Palomino leather. Features include tan carpet, a center console with an armrest and automatic shifter, woodgrain accents, a tan dashboard with a black top pad, an electric sunroof, cruise control, and automatic climate control. A 160-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer with an integrated clock, and gauges for the fuel economy, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level are mounted in a black panel ahead of the driver. The seller notes the clock is currently not working. The odometer reads 73,500 miles, which is in line with the mileage shown on the CARFAX report.

Power is provided by a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter M117 V8 engine backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features include power steering and brakes, cruise control, air conditioning, and windshield washer. All engine hardware and emissions equipment are in place.
