This 2007 Ford Mustang GT coupe is dressed in a livery inspired by the 2007 Saleen Mustang Parnelli Jones Edition and features a custom Borla exhaust system, automatic climate control, an eight-speaker audio system, and upgraded brakes with cross-drilled rotors. The SOHC 4.6-liter Modular V8 is paired with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and transfers power through a limited-slip differential to a pair of Shelby-branded rear wheels. Finished in orange with black striping and decals over a black leather interior, this fifth-generation Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with a CARFAX report and a clear New Mexico title.
The fifth generation of the Mustang pony car was launched in 2005 and based on Ford’s D2C platform. This orange 2007 Mustang GT coupe features black striping and decals inspired by the 2007 Saleen Mustang Parnelli Jones Edition. Features include fog lamps, color-keyed mirror caps, tinted 2013/2014-style taillamps, a rear spoiler, and a Borla dual exhaust system.
Aluminum five-spoke Shelby-branded wheels with polished lips are wrapped in low-profile tires. Stopping power comes from four-wheel ventilated anti-lock discs with red calipers and cross-drilled rotors. The GT suspension is fully independent and features a rear stabilizer bar that contributes to stiffer handling.
The cockpit is fitted with black leather power-adjustable front bucket seats, matched to the door panels, dash, center console, carpeting, and rear seats. Features include air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, power windows, power door locks, a tilt-adjustable steering column, dual vanity mirrors, and an AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system with eight speakers.
Vehicle information is communicated through a factory 145-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer reads 88K miles, which is a true reading supported by the CARFAX report.
The SOHC 4.6-liter Modular V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted Tremec TR-3650 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with a 3.31:1 axle ratio.
Additional photos of the undercarriage are provided in the carousel.
The CARFAX report shows minor damage to the right rear as a result of an accident in July of 2013, a manufacturer recall in January of 2019, and a mileage inconsistency in March of 2021. The selling dealer points out that the mileage "discrepancy" was the result of an extra number being added by mistake.
