1969 Mercury Cougar XR7

This 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 luxury pony car has been owned by the seller for 43 years and receives power from a rebuilt 351ci Windsor V8 paired with a rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission. Launched as a high-end pony car in 1967, the Cougar was derived from the Ford Mustang and offered initially as a two-door hardtop, with a convertible added as an available body style later on. A mid-cycle refresh was carried out in 1969 with revised body lines. This rust-free Cougar hardtop from that year shows fade and blemishes consistent with its age. Features include quad headlamps, a full-width grille, hood retention pins, sweeping side moldings, and sequential turn signals.

Mag 14-inch five-slot aluminum wheels are wrapped in 195/75 front and 220/70 rear tires.
