This 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS two-door convertible has a rust-free body along with a set of polished aluminum wheels and a dual exhaust system. Under the hood, the rebuilt big-block 396ci Turbo-Jet V8 is paired with a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and sends power through a 12-bolt rear end. Equipment includes power steering and brakes, bench seating, and an AM/FM radio. Finished in Granada Gold Metallic with a black cloth power-retractable top over a black vinyl interior, this fourth-generation Impala is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
The full-sized Impala made its debut in 1958 as a trim level for the top-line Bel Air and became a standalone nameplate on the General Motors B-body chassis the following year. The fourth-generation model came to market in 1965 with a new body on the same perimeter frame. Subsequent facelifts brought revisions to trim, powertrains, and equipment. This Granada Gold Metallic Impala convertible from 1967 features a power-retractable black cloth top. as well as quad headlights, chrome brightwork, and a dual exhaust system.
Polished aluminum five-spoke wheels are set inside of radial tires. Driving is aided by power steering and power brakes with discs up front and drums in the rear.
The interior is fitted with black vinyl split-bench front seating with a fold-down center armrest and a matching rear bench seat. The padded, crack-free dash features aluminum trim. Additional features include an AM/FM radio with a rear-mounted speaker, a clock, and a tinted windshield.
Instrumentation consists of a gear selection indicator, 140-mph speedometer, analog clock, fuel gauge, and warning lights for various vehicle systems. True mileage on the vehicle is unknown.
The rebuilt 396ci Turbo-Jet V8 is said to run well per the selling dealer and is accompanied by chrome accents. Power is transferred to the back wheels via a column-shifted TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end.
Photos showing the rust-free underside are available in the carousel.
