This 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne two-door sedan is powered by a small-block Chevrolet V8 engine stroked to 427ci backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include a front suspension with polyurethane bushings, a Centerforce clutch and pressure plate, a billet aluminum driveshaft carrier bearing, drilled and slotted brake rotors, a RetroSound stereo, manual steering, and manual brakes. This silver Biscayne with an Ermine White top and a red vinyl interior is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
The exterior of this two-door post sedan is finished in a Mercedes-Benz shade of silver under an Ermine White top. Features include chrome bumpers, quad headlights in an aluminum grille, a driver-side mirror, and rocker trim.
A set of 17-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with gray centers is wrapped in Nitto radial tires.
The front bench seat, rear seat, trim, and matching door panels are upholstered in red vinyl. Features include red carpeting with red rubber floor mats, a red shift knob, manual windows, a white headliner and visors, a red steel dashboard with a RetroSound stereo, and red seat belts. The selling dealer notes that all gauges and the aftermarket are working.
A 120-mph sweep speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located in the red steel dashboard ahead of the driver. An 8K-rpm tachometer with a shift light is mounted to the steering column and aftermarket oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage gauges are mounted in a chrome panel under the dashboard. The 5-digit odometer shows 392 miles, but the true mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by a small-block Chevrolet V8 engine stroked to 427ci backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. According to the seller, output is 594 horsepower. Under\hood features include AFR CNC-ported heads, an aluminum radiator, roller engine internals, aluminum valve covers and an air cleaner with the Chevrolet logo, a polished Edelbrock aluminum intake, a chrome alternator, Jet-Hot-coated tube headers, a Centerforce clutch and pressure plate, manual steering, and manual brakes.
This Biscayne came factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle with a 3:08 Corvette rear gear set and air shocks. Polyurethane bushings have been installed in the front suspension and a billet driveshaft center carrier bearing has been installed on the chassis. Stopping power is provided by manual drilled and slotted front discs and rear drums.
