This 1966 Chevrolet C10 is powered by a 250ci inline 6-cylinder backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. Features include a rebuilt carburetor, new fuel pump, stained wood-slat bed, an AM/FM/CD radio, and a relocated fuel tank. This black short-bed C10 with a black vinyl interior is available now and comes with receipts, protective rubber mats for the bed floor, and a clear title South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The exterior has been refinished in black. Features include a Stepside short bed, small rear window, chrome front bumper, rear step bumper with dealer advertising, a driver-side rear fender-mounted fuel filler, and dual taillights with rear fender-mounted reverse lights. Additional features include a natural wood bed floor with body-color strips and protective rubber mats, a shaved cab-mounted fuel filler, and chrome mirror caps. Seller states wipers work but the sprayers are inoperable.
A set of chrome 15-inch wheels with later-model 6-lug center caps and trim rings is wrapped in LT235/75 Mesa A/P radial tires.
The bench seat is upholstered with black vinyl. Features include black carpeting, a digital stereo with a CD player, and a column-mounted manual shifter. Additional features include a light gray and matte black dashboard, matching door panels, manual windows, manual steering, and manual brakes. The seller states that the seat material is original and shows signs of wear on the stitching.
A 100-mph sweep speedometer, fuel gauge, and warning lights for the coolant temperature, generator, and oil pressure are located in a gray and black panel ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 87,829 miles, but the true mileage is unknown. The seller states the fuel gauge is not accurate.
Power is provided by a 250ci inline-6 backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include a light blue engine block and valve cover, black closed-element air cleaner housing, manual steering, manual brakes, a windshield washer, a rebuilt carburetor, and a new fuel pump, fuel filter, and steering rag joint. The seller states that a tune-up and compression test has been completed.
This truck came factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle with trailing arms. A full-length single exhaust system exits at the rear. An upgraded aftermarket chassis-mounted fuel tank has been added to the rear of the frame. Stopping power is provided by manual drum brakes. The seller states that earlier this year, new wheel cylinders, brake hoses, metal fuel line, rag joint, lower ball joints, and rear brake shoes were installed and a wheel alignment was performed. A new clutch kit and tie rod ends were installed in 2018 along with the completion of a differential service.
The sale will include receipts and thick rubber mats to protect the bed.

@DaviesM – It is getting dark here now so I will do so and upload them first thing tomorrow. ...
these photos behind the front wheels are better. Thanks!
@JohnJay – Can you share the pictures of the areas with the "bubbles" that you mentioned in the lower doors and sections behind the front wheels, and under the bed? Thanks. ...
I mention the small "bubbles" on the body behind the front tires to be transparent, but they are very small and faint. Therefore they are not easy to see in the photos, but these are an accurate representation. Behind the back wheels is perfect and you can see under the bed. Behind the front wheels is perfect too, I will upload those momentarily. Thanks.

@Eljefferacing – Have the engine and transmission been rebuilt please? Also, is there steering play or front end wander. When was the truck repainted and how would you rate the paint quality. Any blemishes or rust? Thanks. ...
Hi, I bought it in 2021 and do not have that kind of info on the engine. I did check the #'s on the engine and it appears to be a 290 on the bottom and a 250 on the top. It had to have been rebuilt but I have no idea when. I got the compression pro checked by Butch at: http://vintagecarsinc.com here in Fort Mill SC, they said the compression was good. The steering did have some play so I had Vintage Cars do some work on it, including tightening up the steering with a rag joint, etc. Not sure when the truck was repainted. The paint quality seems good to me, it shines up very well and looks solid. I do see some small bubbles on the bottom sections behind the front wheels, and one very small spot on the inside of one of the doors. It had been painted but I noticed some rust there. I drive it about once a week, and take it on the Interstate and it runs very well. If you want photos, let me know. Thanks/Mike
