This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray convertible is powered by a 327ci Turbo-Fire small-block V8 backed by a Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission. The exterior features turbine-style 15-inch wheels, side-exit exhaust pipes, and brightwork. Finished in metallic blue with a fabric top over a white vinyl interior, this C2 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a white removable hardtop and a clear title.
The second-generation Corvette sports car received an all-new exterior design in 1963 and was offered as a two-door coupe or convertible with final assembly taking place in St. Louis, Missouri. Body panels were made of a fiberglass composite and accompanied by quad hideaway headlamps and front fender vents. This metallic blue Corvette Sting Ray convertible from 1966 comes with a white removable hardtop in addition to the factory retractable soft top. Features include side-exit exhaust pipes and chrome brightwork around the exterior.
Turbine-style 15-inch wheels with knock-off spinner caps are wrapped in 205/75 Coker Classic gold-line tires.
The two-seat, twin-cowl interior is fitted with reupholstered white vinyl bucket seats matched to the door panels. Amenities include lap belts, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, an analog clock, and a vertical push-button radio.
Instrumentation encompasses a 160-mph speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 74K miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 327ci Turbo-Fire small-block V8 was rated at 300 horsepower and 360-lb-ft of torque when new. Some service history is noted on a sticker in the driver-side door jamb. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission. Suspension architecture uses unequal-length upper and lower A-arms at the front and a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs.
The sale includes a white removable hardtop.

@winorbust – In the engine bay, by the coolant tank, I see what appears to be a hole in the inner fender. Also the fiberglass gutter seems to be damaged and a piece broken off. Has this car been hit on the right front? ...
Hello It’s the original fender panel, there is no evidence of trauma or damage or accident, Looks like something was mounted there purposely, like some air horn or something of that nature. It’s fiberglass so it can be Easily patched. The car is beautiful and straight
