This reportedly award-winning 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS two-door hardtop is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with the original Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. It is a garage-kept example equipped with Rally wheels and a center console. Finished in light green over a black vinyl interior, this second-generation Nova is now offered with an owner’s manual, promotional materials, photographs, a Protect-O-Plate, and a clear Maryland title in the current owner's name.
The compact Chevy II Nova was manufactured on the unibody X-platform and debuted for the 1962 model year using a 110-inch wheelbase. A subsequent restyle was carried out in 1966 that added a semi-fastback roofline, revised front fenders, and vertical taillamps. This Nova two-door hardtop from the following year is finished in its reportedly original light green paint, which is accompanied by brightwork surrounding the exterior and Super Sport badging on the rear quarters. According to the seller, this Nova has been awarded honors at national Chevrolet shows for its originality and appearance.
Silver 14-inch steel Rally wheels with polished trim rings and center caps are wrapped in redline tires.
The cabin is furnished with black vinyl bucket seats with white accent striping, which coordinate with the door panels, center console, dash, lap belts, carpeting, and floor mats. Amenities include an SS-branded steering wheel, door sill trim plates, and a vinyl trunk mat.
Instrumentation includes a sweeping 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a fuel gauge. A five-digit mechanical odometer tracks accrued mileage, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The small-block 327ci V8 reportedly retains its original ignition and carburetor. Power is directed to the rear wheels via the reportedly original console-shifted Muncie 4-speed manual transmission.
The brakes and exhaust system are also original, according to the seller.
The sale includes an owner’s manual, promotional materials, photographs, and a Protect-O-Plate.
