Vehicle Story

This 1930 Ford Model A custom build was completed under previous ownership and has only covered 860 miles since then. It comes with its reportedly original steel body on a different chassis and features Center Line wheels, a tilt-out windshield, a power tonneau cover on hydraulic struts, disc brakes, and rear coilovers. The cabin is equipped with power windows, VDO gauges, a Grant steering wheel, and Betty Boop floor mats and accents. The semi-open engine compartment contains a 383ci stroker V8 connected to chrome accessories, headers, side pipes, MSD ignition, a Holley Double Pumper carburetor, and a TH350 automatic transmission. Refinished in a Mopar shade of orange over a tan quilted vinyl interior, this Model A is available now and comes with a clear Oregon title in the seller's name.

The all-steel body was refinished in a Mopar shade of orange under previous ownership. It is equipped with dual headlights, a tilt-out windshield, dual peep mirrors, and a windshield visor at the front. The cargo box has a floor lined with wood slats and stainless steel strips and a power-operated quilted vinyl toneau cover that matches the interior. At the rear are a third brake light, Ford-branded tailgate, and teardrop taillights.

A set of Center Line wheels with Granada radials at the front and Hurst slicks at the rear connect the car to the road.

Cabin furnishings include a tan quilted vinyl bench seat and a matching headliner and door panels. Features include custom pinstriping, a tilt steering column, power windows, a floor-mounted automatic shifter, Betty Boop floor mats and accents, and a wood-rimmed Grant GT steering wheel.

Vehicle information is delivered through a set of center-mounted VDO gauges that includes a 120-mph speedometer and readouts for the coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and voltage. The digital odometer currently shows 860 miles, which reflects the mileage accrued since the build was completed.

Power is supplied by a 383ci stroker small-block V8 dressed in a variety of chrome parts, including the valve covers. It comes equipped with an MSD ignition system, a Holley 650-cfm Double Pumper carburetor, a polished aluminum battery box that drops down with the push of a button, blued headers, and side pipes. A fuel cell that holds approximately eight gallons provides fuel to the engine. Power is routed through a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and the rear wheels.

According to the seller, the undercarriage has been painted, cut, and buffed. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes. Chrome highlights the shocks, torsion bars, and rear coilovers.

The seller has posted two videos in the gallery to the right that show the exterior, interior, and engine bay in greater detail.
