Vehicle Story

This 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz luxury coupe was owned in California long-term before being relocated to New York in 2018 and channels power from a 4.1-liter V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transaxle. It is configured in the top-of-the-line Biarritz trim level and features a stainless steel and vinyl landau roof, a sunroof, wire hubcaps, automatic climate control, and new four-wheel disc brakes. Finished in white over a white and cranberry red two-tone interior, this 10th-generation Eldorado is now offered with a clean CARFAX report and a clear New York title in the seller’s name.

Sharing General Motors E-body underpinnings with the Buick Riviera and Oldsmobile Toronado, the Eldorado personal luxury two-door received new bodywork for its 10th generation in 1979. This Eldorado coupe from 1984 is finished in white and accentuated by a Cadillac wreath-and-crest hood ornament, quad headlights, chrome rocker moldings, and a factory sunroof. As a top-trim Biarritz model, it has a stainless steel and white vinyl roof. The seller notes that the car shows well, but needs to be restored.

Steel 15-inch wheels with wire hubcaps are wrapped in whitewall tires.

The interior is furnished with white tufted leather bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear, tied in with the door panels and complemented with cranberry red materials for the dash, steering wheel, and carpeting. Amenities include woodgrain trim, power windows, power door locks, memory seating, air conditioning with automatic climate control, and Bluetooth connectivity added to the factory radio.

Vehicle information is displayed on a digital speedometer, fuel gauge, and an electronic driver information center. The five-digit mechanical odometer has rolled over and reads 12K miles, which is reflective of 112K actual miles.

The longitudinally mounted 4.1-liter HT-4100 V8 transfers power to the front wheels via a column-shifted 4-speed automatic transaxle with overdrive.

All four shock absorbers were recently replaced. The pads for the four-wheel disc brakes were also replaced. An alignment has been performed under the seller’s ownership. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel to the right.

The CARFAX report starts in 1993 and shows a vehicle history that is free of accidents or damage. The car passed a New York safety and emissions inspection in 2019.
