This two-owner 1973 Cadillac Coupe de Ville two-door hardtop received restoration work inside, outside, and under the hood over the course of the last several years. It is powered by a rebuilt 472ci V8 paired with a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and has been upgraded with a Bluetooth audio system, 20-inch wheels, a FiTech fuel injection system, and a custom exhaust. Finished in metallic orange with a replacement white vinyl top over a two-tone white and orange leather interior, this fourth-generation Coupe de Ville is now offered with a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The full-sized de Ville luxury car and other General Motors vehicles using the C-body platform were refreshed in 1971 as the chassis evolved into its fourth generation. The fascia was reworked again in 1972 with updates to the grille slats, repositioned parking lamps, wider-set headlamps, and mandated energy-absorbing bumpers. This de Ville two-door was repainted metallic orange and received a replacement white vinyl top in 2019. The exterior features quad headlights, rear skirts, front mud flaps, and chrome rocker moldings.
New turbine-style 22-inch chrome wheels and low-profile tires were installed in 2020.
The interior was updated in 2017 and fitted with dual bench seats reupholstered in two-tone orange and white, matched to the door panels, headliner, dash, and carpeting. The cabin is accentuated with woodgrain trim. Amenities include power windows, a power-adjustable driver's seat, automatic climate control, and a modern Bluetooth-enabled audio system with trunk-mounted subwoofers.
Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a fuel gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer currently reads just under 80K miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The rebuilt and reportedly original 472ci OHV V8 was rated at 220 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque when new and is equipped with a FiTech fuel injection system. The powerplant is fed by a replacement fuel tank. A two-inch dual exhaust system has been added along with replacement mufflers. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a column-shifted TH400 3-speed automatic transmission.
Several photos showing the condition of the underbody are in the gallery to the right.

An interesting offering. I d like the general originality of it (and you say the original wheels are included, as personally, those on it have to go!) My only other issue - as I suspect with many - is my garage is already tight and this counts as at least 2 cars space wise. I appreciate the presentation of it being generally in pretty good shape for its type and age. Do you believe it is capable of being "driven home" from there as is - say a good 3 hours, turnpike included. Engine, steering, trans, etc all work and only standard maintenance requirements are on the to-do list? (AC/climate work?). Or please advise what needs are or will be soon. I suspect your sorry to have to part with it. Thanks.
BID: $5,000
It is nice except for the wheels. Do you still have the stock rims?
@powertourpacer – Hi ! Nice car... I see a bad dent in the front right wheel. Any problems with the other wheels and do they track straight? Hoping maybe you had the original wheels tho. GLWA! ...
Hi. No problems with other wheels. They do track straight. And I do have original wheels
