This custom 1930 Ford Model A build was completed in 2021 and is powered by a 1953 239ci flathead V8 with tri-power backed by a 5-speed manual transmission. Features include upgraded gauges, a 12-volt conversion, an upgraded exhaust, tinted windows, manual hydraulic brakes with front discs, a filled steel roof, and a 1932 Ford grille shell. This patina blue Model A with black fenders and a blue cloth interior is available now and comes with a clear Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.
The steel body is finished in patina blue and equipped with gloss black fiberglass fenders. Features include a 1932 Ford grille shell and insert, silver front bumper, filled steel roof, windshield visor, dual headlights, and a rear body-mounted fuel door. Additional features include chrome Harley-Davidson mirrors, welded chain grille support rods, a tilt-out windshield, and dual taillights. The seller notes cracks in the windshield and side glass. Additional photos and videos can be seen in the carousel to the right.
A set of tan steel 1935 Ford wire wheels is fitted with 185R14 Widetrack radial tires at the front and 285/70/R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires at the rear.
A late-model bench seat is upholstered with dark blue vinyl and cloth. Features include a rear body-mounted fuel tank, black vinyl floor mat, floor-mounted emergency brake, and 5-speed manual shifter. Additional features include a tilt steering column, gray cloth door panels, and matte blue dashboard and interior trim.
A set of aftermarket AutoMeter gauges includes a 120-mph speedometer and readouts for the oil pressure, voltage, water temperature, and fuel level. A Sunpro 8K-rpm tachometer is mounted to the top of the dashboard. The seller estimates there are fewer than 1K miles on the engine. The true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
Power is provided by a 1953 239ci flathead V8 with tri-power and processed by a 5-speed manual transmission. Features include three Offenhauser carburetors, a 12-volt alternator, manual steering, manual brakes, and chrome air cleaners. A video of the engine running and a vehicle walkaround can be seen in the carousel to the right.
This Model A is equipped with a dropped solid-tube front axle and a 10-bolt rear end with a solid drive axle. A full-length exhaust system with chrome tips exits at the rear of the body. Braking is provided by 4-wheel hydraulic manual brakes with front discs and rear drums. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the carousel to the right.
