This professionally built, rotisserie restored 1950 Ford business coupe has been in the same family for 15 years and with the seller since 2019. Power is provided by a fuel-injected 2006 Mustang 4.6L V8 engine backed by a 5-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt in 2021. Features include Fat Daddy Fabricators chassis with tubular independent front suspension, power steering, rear view camera, aftermarket climate controls, power 4-wheel disc brakes, tilt wheel, AM/FM stereo, and manual windows. This Red metallic 1950 Ford business coupe with two-tone brown vinyl interior comes with restoration records and receipts totaling over $75k, and uninstalled color-matched aftermarket skirts, sold on a clear title in the seller's name.
The body was taken down to bare metal and rotisserie restored, finished in red with gold metallic. Features include new weatherstripping, chrome bumpers with overriders, chrome grill, dual headlights, reportedly original glass, dual taillights with LED upgrade, and full-length stainless body side trim. A set of color-matched aftermarket fender skirts will be included with the sale but are currently not installed. additional photos of the restoration can be seen in the carousel.
A set of color-matched steel wheels are wearing period-correct dog dish hub caps with Ford logo and stainless trim rings wrapped with wide whitewall radial tires.
The front and rear seats and door panels are upholstered with 2-tone brown vinyl. Features include aftermarket climate controls, tilt steering column topped with a 2-spoke billet steering wheel with color-matched grip, center console-mounted 5-speed automatic transmission shifter, manual windows, power steering and brakes, color-matched steel dashboard and door sills with custom center console, and AM/FM stereo.
A 100 mph speedometer and a clock are mounted in the dashboard finished matching the exterior. The seller reports that the speedometer is currently not working, but all other gauges are functional. A Garmin GPS that has a rear view camera and tracks speed can be used as a speedometer according to the seller. The AM/FM radio has been removed and replaced with an additional A/C vent. The odometer shows 37,500 miles, but the true mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by a fuel-injected 4.6L V8 sourced from a 2006 Mustang GT engine backed by a recently rebuilt 5-speed automatic transmission. under-hood features include power steering, power brakes, mustang engine cover, coolant overflow bottle, serpentine belt accessory drive, K/N air filter, and battery disconnect.
The chassis is a Fat daddy Fabrications product with independent Mustang II style front suspension with rack and pinion steering, chrome tubular control arms and coil over shocks and a solid 8" Ford rear drive axle. Stopping is provided by 4-wheel power disc brakes.
A set of body color matched rear fender skirts are included with the sale, but are currently not installed.
