This 1985 Chevrolet K20 is a California-owned blue-plate pickup powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission and two-speed transfer case. It comes in a fleetside long-bed 4x4 body style and benefits from recent maintenance to the steering system. Finished in ivory over a fabric interior, this K20 is now offered with service records, owner’s booklets, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear California title in the seller’s name.
This rust-free 1985 K20 Scottsdale has been in California long-term and wears an ivory finish. The exterior features a color-matched center grille insert, stacked headlights, bodyside moldings, a sliding rear window, and a custom rear bumper with a hitch receiver. The interior of the cargo bed shows wear and surface rust.
White 16-inch steel wheels with bowtie-branded hubcaps are wrapped in Trazano tires.
The cab is fitted with a tan bench seat, along with matching door panels, a body-colored dash face, and a rubber floor covering. Amenities include factory air conditioning, all-weather floor mats, and tinted glass. The seller notes that the radio and shift indicator do not work.
Vehicle information is conveyed through an 85-mph speedometer and auxiliary readouts for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 90K miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 350ci V8 received an oil change in July of 2022. Additional recent work has recently been performed on the fuel pump and steering box. Power is fed to all four wheels via a column-shifted 3-speed automatic transmission and two-speed transfer case. The rear end has a locking differential with 4.10:1 gearing.
The brakes and rotors have been replaced.
The CARFAX report starts in 2000 and shows a vehicle history free of accidents or damage. The sale includes car cover, trailer hitch and ball, service records and owner’s booklets.

@85chev4x4 – Hi and thanks again for your questions. Within the last 5000 miles the entire exhaust was replaced from the engine back. Just prior to that the right bank exhaust manifold and bolts were replaced. The vehicle passed the Califormia manditory emmissions test in January of 2021. I know of no inspections that it will not pass. ...
Thank-you. I will be in touch soon.

Okay, thanks for the info. I have requested a quote for Shipping and Brokerage costs. Once I receive that information I will know approximately what I am looking at to get the truck here to Ottawa. Then I can make an appropriate bid. Here in Ontario vehicles are required to go through safety inspections at time of purchase. Looking at the photos gives me a pretty good idea of the trucks condition. Some of the questions I asked earlier will be looked at. Exhaust leaks being one of them. Do you know of any problems from the exhaust manifold (including missing/broken bolts) back to the rear bumper?
@Coolblock – Apologies, just noticed the brake work has been done as per the listing. ...
Not a problem. Thank you for your interest.
Thank you for your interest. We bought the truck from my folks when it it was about a year old and around 10,000 miles on it. We have been the owners since about 1987. I did have all the records back to day one but unfortunately in 2017 we lost our home and all contents to a fire. Best of luck bidding.

Hi 85chev4x4, One more question. If I win the bid, I would probably use Canadian Car Shipping and a Broker to transport the truck to Ottawa Ontario. The Broker will search the title. Do you have any other records that date back prior to the 2000 Carfax report? If you are the original owner this will not be an issue. If there are other owners the Broker may have to do a search. Thanks.
@Ronslawns – Hello, I'm bidding from Henderson, NV. If I win do you think I can drive this from Santa Rosa to Vegas without trouble? Or would recommend the truck be trailered back to Vegas? Thanx much. ...
The truck has always gotten me home. I don't doubt the truck would make the trip to Vegas but with that being said it is 37 years old and the current temps are in the 100' degree area. I would trailer it personally. Thank you for your interest.
Hi, I live in Ottawa Ontario, Canada. I will be bidding on your truck. The pics provided show the truck has promise. It looks to be well taken care of. I have a few questions. 1) Are you the original owner? 2) Any issues with the transfercase? 3) Do the manual windows work? 4) When were the brakes last serviced? 5) Are any of the exhaust manifold bolts broken? Thanks, Coolblock

Thank you for your interest. We put the cover on the dash over 20 years ago just to protect it. It was in good shape at that time. The seat cover has been replaced about three times with the same type saddle cover. The last time we replaced it the upholstery had changed color from the dyes in the seat cover. The original seat is not torn or ripped but discolored. Thank you again for your questions.
Hi what is the dash like under the carpet and how is the seat under the seatcover
